Stopped into Shipwrecked Brew Pub in Egg Harbor and let me tell you… if your ship goes down in Door County, this is the place you want to wash up on shore.

The beer was cold, the food was solid, and the place has enough nautical décor to make you feel like you accidentally joined a pirate crew. I ordered a couple house beers and by the second one I was pretty sure I could captain a fishing boat across Green Bay myself.

The burgers were great, the cheese curds disappeared faster than a life raft on the Titanic, and the atmosphere was exactly what you want in a Door County brewpub—relaxed, loud, and full of people who look like they’ve been drinking since the ferry dock opened.

If you’re in Egg Harbor and looking for good beer, good food, and a place where nobody judges you for ordering “just one more,” Shipwrecked is worth dropping anchor.

Just be careful… a few beers in and you might start telling strangers you’re a professional lighthouse keeper. ⚓️

We had a second floor table here on a beautiful night in October where it was still over 70 degrees. My husband and I both chose the fish fry and beer for him and I had a Bloody Mary which was quite good. One of the second floor windows faced the water and the sun was going down over the lake. It was lovely. The crowd was family oriented and it was busy…we didn’t make a reservation but it was fine. The establishment looks like it could be overflowing in summer! All around a good location, setting, service and view. The fish fry with slaw was excellent!

We started with some cheese curds which I highly recommend. Waiter was attentive and helped us a lot. I got the classic cheeseburger which I don’t really get because I prefer other things but this one was the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had! I would also recommend the chips little dry but good.

When we are in Egg Harbor, we love stopping here. Great place in the middle of Egg Harbor! Sea food chowder is really good! Wonderful beers on tap!

Its a little pricey but the food is great. The staff was very nice. We had the cheese curds with what I believe is homemade ranch because it had a little garlic. I had the ribs and my wife had fish tacos with a side salad that had apple cherry vinegarette dressing. She said it was fantastic. Its a definite must try.

Two level bar/restaurant, talkative yet chill atmosphere with lots of natural light, sports on TV. Lots of gluten free options – chowder, soup, salad, gluten free buns, and more.

Gluten free Seafood Chowder (New England) was awesome, as it’s usually not gluten free, thought a little watery. Only $9 for a bowl too! A deeper or sturdier spoon would’ve enhanced the experience. Dirty martini was also solid (7.50).

Excellent choice for lunch or dinner; I will visit again for sure.

Pet friendly? Our special needs dog was not allowed to sit in her stroller. They said she needs to be on the ground.
My husband was really looking forward to having a wonderful 60th birthday celebration, but we were turned away. The outside patio was 20% full.
Her stroller would have taken up less room than 2 children.

Wow… last minute decision to grab something to eat at 8PM on a Saturday turns into a GREAT decision! From the extremely friendly staff to the cozy atmosphere Shipwrecked has it all! Personally I found it to be a little bit pricy but for a small tourist town it wasn’t the worst. But the food was absolutely amazing! Baja Fish Tacos were amazing, loaded french fries were loaded with flavor and the seafood chowder needed to come in a gallon portion to bring home! They definitely knocked it out of the ballpark here! Will be recommending Shipwrecked to everyone I know that frequently visits the Egg Harbor area! Can’t wait to come back!

I did not enjoy the place here. It is big inside and they also have outside seats. The food wasn’t good. We had plastic plates for outside but for the appetizer we had to ask the waitress to bring some. There are other places to eat…

First off, beware the classic burger has bread and butter pickles, not dill. The fries came out slightly stale and fishy tasting. The kettle chips were almost rubbery they were so stale and also tasted fishy. I had one and couldn’t eat another. On a positive note, their buns are delicious and seem to be house made. Staff was friendly. Upstairs dining had a slight odor that smelled like a bathroom air freshener. Honestly the men’s bathroom smelled better. Had a far better experience two years ago. After this latest visit, I would avoid eating here again.
