Stopped by to get some sandwiches for lunch. They use Boars Head meat for the sandwiches! The sandwiches were well prepared and the noodles too. Portions are on the smaller side compared to a subway foot long for instance.

Once we placed our order we waited around 5 minutes for the food to be prepared. There are stores around you can visit to look at stuff while you wait.

There is a picnic table outside to sit at, another one a hut down, and seating at a stage like thing out in the middle of stores. There is no seating inside to eat, just a chair to sit and wait.

The staff was very friendly and nice. The prices are typical for the island from other places I have visited.

Overall I would dine here again if I’m in the area and want a good sandwich.

My husband and I stopped in today and had such a great experience. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I wasn’t sure what to order, and the woman working there kindly helped me decide, which I really appreciated.

I ended up getting the First Class Upgrade, and it was delicious. The bread was soft and fresh, and the sandwich had the perfect balance of flavors.

We also got a couple cookies from their bakery and they were phenomenal — and I’m pretty picky about cookies! Everything tasted fresh and homemade.

Great food, kind service, and a really enjoyable stop. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I ordered the Genovese. They ran out of croissants, so I got it on a roll. Maybe I was just super hungry, but I think it’s one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. The roll was perfectly baked, chicken perfectly shredded and tender, pesto was delicious.
There was a little bit of a wait because it seemed there was only one person making sandwiches for the lunch rush, but it was worth it.

Ordered Italian and Bird subs. Warm sub with soft bread. Boar’s Head meet was good. However, Italian sub had very little flavor and didn’t care for the vinaigrette on it. The Bird just didn’t taste very good. A little disappointed based on the quality and price.

Great sandwiches every time This year my daughter ordered a salad by mistake. They changed it for her and gave her the sandwich she wanted. Mahalo I love the First Class Upgrade. My wife loves the Caprese

We needed a quick bite while shopping and stopped in. Staff was not terribly helpful or friendly, but my order was taken and prepared. When I picked up, I was handed someone else’s food. I noticed the error. It just seemed that the staff may need more training or enthusiasm.

I asked for an additional dressing and it really caused confusion.

Food was good. Ordered a coprese sandwich which was pesto and mozzarella, not really a caprese and a salad, which was simple and good.

Not sure I’d eat here again. Expensive and just ok.

First Class Upgrade sub was the chef’s kiss. Their meats are Boar’s Head. Excellent quality, quick service, very friendly. There’s a large table that’s covered so you can eat outside.

What a fun place to have an awesome sub sandwich! This little shop makes great subway sandwiches full of flavor and texture. Each sandwich (and I’ve had several of their offerings) is a full meal and a delight. If you love a good, gourmet sandwich while in Poipu, this is a place to grab one!

We had delicious sandwiches from Shipwreck. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The sandwiches (the Moa—a Buffalo chicken; the caprese—fresh mozz and tomato; and the Italian) were huge and full of fresh ingredients with plenty of dressing. We took out, but the outdoor seating area looked inviting. Try it!

First time at Shipwreck Subs and it did not disappoint! I asked for a recommendation and ended up with the First Class Upgrade Sub. It was delicious and incredibly filling— I could only finish half! The house vinaigrette really takes the sandwich to the next level. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more greens so they last through the whole sandwich. Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be back!
