Warm and inviting, clean and comfortable. Came for breakfast and food came out hot and was great, exactly as described and ordered. Portions were filling but not bombastic.
We haven’t been in years and cant wait to sail through the menu and explore all the yummy options that caught our eye.
Parking is easy and there are good amounts of spaces. Maybe the best thing we can say is that our server, and I feel badly that we didnt write down her name, was a shining ray of sunshine! (She wears a necklace with an L) So friendly, a kind smile and just the right amount of service!
This place has received a refresh and a great menu change since the last time we were there and we will be back!

This place is simple, but it gets the job done. Walk in and you’re greeted with a country vibe that feels straight out of a hometown Sunday. There’s a football game playing on the flat screen, country music drifting through the speakers, and a kind of unforced friendliness that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into someone’s local spot rather than a generic cafe.
Parking looked generous at first glance, but I came on a Sunday afternoon which is probably the busiest time humanly possible. Getting a spot was pure luck and timing. Even so, I was seated right away, and the waitstaff didn’t blink when I asked to switch seats. Everyone working here felt warm without trying too hard, the way service should be.
The decor leans nautical in a quiet, subtle way. They serve Pepsi products, and while I don’t drink alcohol, the cocktails going past my table looked surprisingly good. I ordered biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns, extra crispy. Nothing about this place is trying to reinvent breakfast, and honestly that’s the charm. For twenty five dollars with tip, it absolutely hit the spot.
The hashbrowns were crisp without being burnt, the exact sweet spot places usually miss when you ask for “extra crispy.” The biscuits and gravy were heavy and comforting, exactly the way they should be on a gray Washington day. If you’re lucky enough to sit facing west, the windows frame the trees in a way that almost feels intentional.
There is nothing particularly special or flashy here. And yet, I’d still go out of my way to come back. The food came out so fast I didn’t even get the chance to open my book. Everything was uncomplicated, filling, and made with care.
Even though the atmosphere leans country, it never felt uncomfortable or judgmental. I have a more alternative look and felt surprisingly at home. In that way, it reflects Olympia itself. Welcoming. Easy to be in. Quietly charming.
All in all, it’s the kind of place that doesn’t pretend to be anything more than it is. And sometimes that is exactly what you want.

If you want Sunday breakfast come early and with patience. The staff do their best to seat you as soon as they can. Great food, beautiful views. Minutes from Olympia. I come here for business meetings for lunch because they have a great place to spread out paperwork and laptops. My favorite lunch here is a virgin bloody Mary and Cesar salad with Salmon.

The staff were super nice and attentive, but the highlight was their pancake! We don’t usually order pancakes, but happened to order one for our daughter and WHOA. The best plain pancake I’ve ever had. It was fluffy, moist, and super tasty! They make these in house from scratch and were very helpful when it came to our daughter’s severe peanut allergy. We went on a Sunday and it was super busy, but the wait wasn’t too bad.

I ordered the seafood platter, which I hesitated because it was $30. But I took a chance and it was the absolute best seafood platter I have ever had in my entire life. Every item on the platter was deep fried to perfection, not greasy, crisp and crunchy on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside.

Happy I switched up from my usual breakfast spots this morning! Really great experience, portions are very large for the $ amount, food was hot, came out quick, coffee was good, not much else you can ask for in a breakfast joint!

We have been wanting to try this place for quite a few years.. but we live out of the Olympia area so usually when we’re coming there we’re running an errand or five.
I am so glad we finally stopped by, because yum!
My kiddos absolutely loved their pancakes, and as vegetarians, we were very grateful that we could swap the meat for hash browns, for no extra cost. A lot of places don’t allow that.
My fish burger was absolutely amazing, The fish was tender. The fry was perfect. Vegetables were fresh, plenty of tartar sauce! The fries were delicious. And the serving size was great for the price.
My husband loved his biscuits and gravy, it’s one of those dishes he likes to try everywhere. Was a reasonable price too because it was three biscuits gravy and some hash browns.
I personally didn’t get a salad but saw other tables receiving them, they look so yummy.
There’s loads of options on the menu, I can’t wait to go back and try more!

Second trip here and easily matches the quality of food and service of the first time. Opened a little later due to the cold weather and icy roads but we were close enough to the opening time that we waited in the car. As we rolled in we could smell the coffee and the grills warming up. Server was super friendly and attentive. Once again, the coffee cups never emptied past half full and our meals came out super timely. The wife opted for the meat lovers omelette which was LOADED with ham, bacon, & sausage. So much she couldn’t quite finish. My CFS, the gold standard of breakfasts, was done quite well and served with the perfect amount of gravy. They served both of our toast orders on one plate and it was a mountain of thick cut sourdough. The topper, though was the way my eggs were cooked. I had the most absolutely perfect over medium-well eggs EVER!! Whites were firm as was the edge of the yolk but still enough to dunk a corner of my toast. I think the highest compliment I could ever offer would be that if I were ever to own a cafe like this, I would do it EXACTLY the same!! I think the public agrees because the traffic in the front door was ridiculous.
