I have been here a few times and everything has always been good. The wraps are excellent and today we got frozen custard and a no bake cookie. It’s a cool little spot to take a break and enjoy being on vacation with your kids. Kid friendly, and there are picnic benches outside to enjoy your ice cream.

Everything about this place is AWESOME. The sandwiches are delicious with large portion sizes and great selections. Service was fast and the staff were very friendly.
My family and I hiked the dunes and this was THE BEST choice for food after the hike.

Passing through here, heading to Sleeping Bear, and we LOVE to find little local places to eat. This place was busy, so we figured it had to be good! There is no indoor seating, it’s all outdoors, which was perfect for us! The staff was super friendly and helpful, despite being so so busy when we arrived. Everyone was smiling and happy, and they were happy to offer suggestions of the best sandwiches to try out.

This place is just adorable! I love how it’s set up, and how cute it is! We ordered our food, and got a buzzer so we would be notified when it was finished. We had our pups with us, and even got a small kids sandwich for them to share! I just love how accommodating they were to all of my questions and how friendly everyone was! I found the price to be very fair for the food we got! I want to go back just to eat here again!

Delicious food and reasonable prices. My wife and I both had the Carl Bradley (ham, bacon, Colby Jack, lettuce, tomato….), and a chocolate, cherry cookie). All the sandwiches are named after ship wrecks.

Wow I was not expecting my lunch to be that tasty.

A wonderful place with quick service and one of if not the only place open within a few mile radius that was actually open in late April when I was here.

As a vegetarian normally the veggie options are normally lacking in flavor and always predictable ingredients. But nope they made a wonderful wrap with great onions and bell peppers with eggs.

Food was ok here. We decided to try it since the Village Inn restaurant was crowded. Not as tasty as it seems other reviewers indicate. Our sandwhich bread was a little stale/hard/dry (especially the pretzel bread…which did not look or taste like a pretzel). I don’t know if I could have even eaten the sandwich without a drink. Soups and salad were better than sandwiches here in my opinion.

Stopped in for lunch and Wow happened.
My sandwich was the Three Brothers Italian Sub which consisted of (Capicola, Prosciutto, Salami, Mozzarella Cheese, Onions, Peppers, and Italian Dressing on an Italian Herb Roll)
Staff was busy with great attention to detail.
Everyone had a seat on the bus and were doing what they were suppose to be doing. Very organized.
Clean both inside and out.
The team even let me take a pic of the action going on behind the counter.

We made it here for lunch. The sandwiches were really good would definitely be interested in trying out their breakfast. The service was also really good. Employees were friendly and got everything out pretty quick even though it was starting to get busy.

Good lunch stop today at Shipwreck Cafe!
The staff were working super hard to get sandwiches out quick, and were very friendly.
I loved my vegetarian sandwich – the marinated peppers and pretzel bun were amazing. Next time I’d ask for mustard on the side though, as it became a little much.
My husband said his turkey sandwich was good, but dry, and that my sandwich was more flavorful.
We sat outside, which was nice, but we wished for umbrellas on the tables. Just be prepared to sit directly in the hot sun!
Overall good, and we’ll be back when we’re in Empire again

This place really provided a great sub sandwich with a home made sub bun after a long ride to Glen Arbor on my bike! An excellent moist bun filled with a large amount of meats and great Italian dressing. Plus they were accommodating to an allergy. I will definitely be back more often now that I’ve found this little gem of a deli and for sure will give that pizza a try!
