We came here for drinks & sushi and were blown away. Everything from the food, drinks, staff and atmosphere was perfect. I got the Caterpillar and wow it was amazing, some of the best sushi I have ever had and the wasabi was incredible as well. The drinks pictured are the Guava Flow and Missionaries Downfall both of which were crafted well and you can really taste the quality ingredients! They were so good we ended up ordering the Conrads Mai Tai too. This is on a resort but everyone was so nice and was well worth the trip!

We had such a great experience at this beachside bar! The sushi was truly top-quality, fresh, delicious, and on par with what you’d expect from serious sushi spots. Our server, Aliyah, was wonderful and made the whole evening even better. The cocktails were tasty, and the setting couldn’t be more perfect, you’re right on the sand, yet the space is so well designed that it feels comfortable and welcoming. We came at sunset, and the view of the ocean made it absolutely unforgettable. We live in Maui and we will definitely come back to this place when visiting BI again!

Came here with my girls for some bites, drinks, and a sunset view. Not disappointed. The view is amazing! The service all around is great, and special shout out to Cheyne our bartender. He took great care of us!! Jour was also amazing and made us feel so welcomed.

Grabbing drinks here was such a unique and special experience! The bar is crafted from an old schooner that was restored to its former glory. Known for having some really amazing sushi, their cocktail menu was equally impressive. There are only 9 or 10 seats at the bar itself although there were also a few tables set up nearby where you could still order from the Shipwreck menu. Neither my wife or I eat sushi so we went straight to the cocktails menu. They had a great assortment of drinks – my wife ordered the Liliko`i Margarita and I went with Conrad’s Mai Tai. Both were absolutely fantastic and crafted to perfection! Hands down the best Mai Tai I’ve had! After receiving a few bar snacks to munch on and ordering another round, the sun started to set. The atmosphere couldn’t have been more perfect! All you could hear was the subtle music on the background and the waves crashing on the beach just steps away. The entire experience was incredible – this was my favorite thing we did while visiting the island! We’re already talking about how soon we’re coming back to the Big Island just so we can come here again!

10 out of 10 to the Shipwreck Bar! What a great concept, drinks out of refurbished and beautiful boat. The drinks were unique, fresh, and delicious – especially the Mai Tais but the best best part was meeting the bartender, Marlin. What a kind, fun, and overall great human! And did we mention he makes great cocktails??? Thank you for the incredible hospitality and for making us feel valued on our vacation, Marlin!

We stayed at the Rosewood for a week. Unfortunately, we saved eating sushi at the Shipwreck Bar until our last night. If we had gone earlier, we would have eaten there a few more times. Fresh, fantastic sashimi, wonderful rolls! Best sushi east of Tokyo! Will was an awesome bar tender! We will be back.
