An amazing location for take out breakfasts, I come here from time to time for breakfast before work. Very sweet and kind workers! There’s this one lady who always makes sure my orders ready before I walk into the door, if I knew her name I’d credit her!! She deserves a raise!! Quite cheap high quality donuts compared to other shops on the island. The only thing I’d say I didn’t like was the basic kolaches, they aren’t bad but they could be better, especially for the price point. I’d heavily recommend the cherry iced donuts and the apple fritter though. (Quite big for its cheap price)

I’ve eaten at this location many times but now I will never return. This is a health hazard. It makes you wonder how many roaches there are and how often the equipment gets cleaned. I would take your business elsewhere.

This place is THE BEST DONUT SHOP IN GALVESTON!! The lady who runs this place is Filipina and she is so kind. The service here is amazing. I would give this place 100 stars if I could! Absolutely recommend!

The parking lot is small, but there is a drive through! Decent selection of doughnuts at a good price. I asked for a little time to browse, because we’d never been there before. She definitely rushed us even when there was no one else waiting. We did enjoy the doughnuts, they were exceptionally light, and had great flavors.

This is a drive thru only donut shop. You can park in the parking lot, but the tables inside have the chairs stacked on the tables as if they’re closed. (I don’t think you can go in and sit at a table). You can get to the drive thru on the side street, and it’s a little wonky, but the apple fritter is really good. Don’t expect a normal, flat fritter, the shape is that of a cinnamon roll, with the apple filling throughout the swirls of dough, it is HUGE!

I visited on my birthday and mentioned it in passing to the cashier. I asked for extra filling in my chocolate long bar. They added the extra, some icing and candles then all 6 employees sang me happy birthday!! It was so nice. It made my day!

I had a pickup for this location and there was absolutely no parking so I decided to just go through the drive thru I get to the window and tell the lady I’m here for a pickup and I give her my name she tells me that it’s not ready and to come inside… which makes 0 sense if it’s not ready just make it like you’d do any other customer that comes through the drive thru but I didn’t argue I went inside and sat for over 15 minutes watching them not make my order (at this point it wasn’t busy just people sitting inside eating) it took me getting up and asking what’s going on for them to finally get my things together but when it was time for me to get my stuff and leave the lady in the front acted like she didn’t want to give me my order!!!! I had to ask her if she wanted to see my ID! Just to pick up my food that I paid for! She was just rude and snappy kept asking for my name and I kept telling her but she demanded to see it somewhere else for proof that it’s my name.
Overall this place won’t be seeing me again I don’t care how good the donuts are customer service is everything and making it difficult for your customers isn’t good customer retention. I don’t want to play the race card or that she was prejudice but she definitely treated me differently than other customers I seen others get greeted with smiles and openness and everyone before me got a have a good day but all I got was mean and darkness.

Hands down the BEST donut shop I’ve been too… the Coffee is amazing.. and the donuts and the cinnamon rolls are so yummy…

We were on vacation in Galveston, and stopped at Shipley’s. We were immediately greeted with very friendly staff. We ordering several donuts, and drinks. After paying and sitting down at a table, my 2 year old quickly changed her mind, and wanted a different color donut. The owner just gave me the additional donut at no cost. He also came by our table and asked if we wanted to try some new peppermint donuts. He brought us 2 different kinds to try at no charge. They were good, and especially fun for Christmas time. We really appreciated how friendly and welcoming everyone was. The donuts were great, and the service was top notch! Keep up the great work!
