I was truly disappointed tonight. I’ve been going to this location for over 10yrs. I have NEVER experienced food quality & taste this horribly. I went at 10pm. I know it’s late but first, there was absolutely no donuts. Very minimal selection. Like 5 varieties. It’s a 24hr business. At least have regular glazed. As I sat in my vehicle to enjoy them with my toddler, she asked for a donut & literally half the cake donuts I had purchased, were soo stale & hard. They were also dry. I was in shock on how hard. I thought maybe if in the microwave. But it was a little too much for my liking. I could taste they had been out all day. I went back in to let the guy know, & he said “ that’s the way cake donuts get.” That because it’s different dough it’s gets hard like that. He offered to get me new donuts but the selection was so minimal, I kept what I got. I was disappointed. The only ones that were worth eating were the 3 sugar donuts. I was so sad because I have never gotten donuts this bad.

Horrible customer service! Walked in to the store and was greeted in silence while the employee was on his phone. We asked a simple question and was yelled at. The employees demeanor was very clear that he did not want to be there, but that doesn’t give him the right to treat customers poorly.
After reading the reviews I’m not the first customer to experience this kind of service. I guess this is the new customer service to expect when going to Shipley’s.

I wanted to share some feedback about my visit on Monday night. The employee at the counter (wearing glasses and black nail polish) did not greet me when I walked in and seemed unkept and uninterested in assisting customers. The interaction felt dismissive, as though my presence was inconvenient for him. I value your establishment, so I hope this can be addressed to improve future customer experiences. The donuts were delicious they practically still sell themselves despite the poor customer service.
Update. I just read the recent reviews & apparently I am not the only one. And the fact those reviews were acknowledged & Vincent still continues act poorly with his job.
