Believe That
First it was the near and dear to my heart Whataburger. Now, it’s happening to my hometown Shipleys. It’s disappointing when a brand that’s been known for consistent quality starts becoming hit or miss. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete miss; customer service included.
I went in around 9:30 a.m. on a Wednesday, and it wasn’t busy. I ordered 2 plain glazed, 2 chocolate-iced donuts, 4 jalapeño sausage-and-cheese kolaches, and a fat-free milk. Instead of handling the donuts with care, the cashier shoved all four into a tiny bag. They looked and tasted burnt/old, and had barely any icing/glaze. When I asked about it, I was only met with a blank stare and asked “what?” ♀️
The kolaches were undercooked in the middle, and they didn’t have the milk I wanted. To make matters worse, two days later I noticed my bank account showed a different total than what I was charged at the store—they had added an extra tip for themselves without my consent.
In the end, I paid nearly $25 for old, burnt, poorly made donuts and undercooked kolaches. Sadly, it pains me to say this but, I won’t be returning.

Went to pick up my suprise box from good to go and the heavy set lady with and hombre hair style who had her hair down and was not using a hairnet by the way was rude and refused to give me my bag even tho i showed her my code in my app. Horrible customer service. Will never buy Donuts from this establishment ever.
Update: replying to your response .I had showed the lady my code in my good to go app still refused service it wasn’t a screenshot like yall claimed it was the real deal. No, thanks will not be returning. And as far as swiping never heard of the actual employees doing it for you i always swiped it before hand never had a problem. App doesn’t say the business has to swipe it saids to show the order code in the app which i did. If yall really “reviewed”the footage yall will see i did show my code from the app so therefore your reply is false.

I wanted to not believe it because the service I’ve received here was always nice, but after looking at comments of other customers receiving old/stale donuts – I feel like my family was given donuts with mold on them. I wish I took more pictures of the other donuts before messing with them. We tried to pick at the spots in case it was just icing or something from other donuts, but after taking it apart I feel like it’s mold they just glazed ove

It was a beautiful “donut” kind of morning, so I searched for a Shipley’s Donut shop nearby. I was thrilled when there was one less than 1 mile away, so I made my way there. I had never been to this particular Shipley’s before, but I loved that they had an open window to watch the gentleman making donuts and kolaches. The window is surrounded by tables and chairs so it would be easy to dine in if you have the time. You can sit and enjoy watching the donuts being made, or the traffic going by. I’m sure that these days everyone will be staring at their phones, but give yourself a break, go in, sit down, enjoy watching the pastries being made, and just breathe for a few minutes.
The cream filled donuts are my favorite, but I also love the chocolate filled. If a filled donut is what you’re craving, you will not be disappointed because they are definitely not stingy when it comes to the filling! While you’re there, you may as well get yourself a bag of donut holes to go to bless someone with later. I was on my way out when the gentleman behind the glass caught my attention as they made kolaches, so I had to stop and get a kolache on my way out.

I don’t always expect the donuts to be hot, but I would expect them to be fresh. Twice I have been there in each time very disappointed won’t be back.
That is a little hard to believe. I’m sure at some point in time you do have to make donuts daily but when I tell you, they’re not fresh, they are not fresh. You guys have got to do better and maybe work on some of those attitudes in there.

In the morning I went for about two dozen donuts, a lady who had her cap on was serving me, another lady who was wearing glasses came and was extremely rude to the lady who was serving me and yelled at her in front of me, not caring that she was serving a customer, the lady serving me very patiently told the lady with glasses to come in that there was plenty of space, im extremely disappointed on how the lady with glasses could treat her coworker like that specially in front of a customer that seems very unprofessional to me for a person who is working at the counter

Prices go up service goes down this is the second location I’ve been to lately early morning . I stood at the counter for 4 minutes no one said anything just kept working finally one of the workers said something in Spanish to the other worker who was in the back , no good morning just looked at me so I told “Angel” the name on my ticket I wanted 3 glazed donuts so she got them I asked since it’s 5:30AM in the morning could I get the hot fresh donuts she pointed to the microwave told me I could heat them up. I guess I’ve been away from Shipley donuts a longtime because they we’re always hot and fresh and if it was the middle of the day they would ask if you wanted them warm. $3.90 for donuts now I would think you could get a smile a thank-you. Not here wow bring back good customer service.
