I love Japanese food and have tried it in many countries, including Japan itself. This restaurant is truly delicious — fresh and authentically Japanese. The only small difference is the wasabi, wasn’t as spicy. Overall, it’s excellent! The staff are friendly, attentive, and always smiling. We’ll definitely be back again! ✨

A hidden gem for sure, I’ve lived in Dallas all my life and was amazed I have never dined at this beautiful place.
The lighting, decor and music, all add a great experience with friends, my only issue was how close all the tables are. Gives a bit of tension between tables, but still the ambience is beautiful.
KC was spectacular! He was humorous, well versed in the menu, the manager was very attentive and we had the pleasure of having one of the assistant servers bring us a soy Chile sauce, which was delicious with any sushi roll!
Four of us dined and had a great spread, but the main dish, the Chile and Tempura whole Red Snapper is a must! The noodles and sauces served, are enough for us to dine, even if you only have that for your dinner you’ll be extremely impressed.
Definitely recommend for client dinners, a lovely anniversary or just a great date night!

really liked the fresh sushi rolls (the Purple Rain was a standout) and the brussels sprouts were amazing. The cocktails were great too—though it did get a bit loud and the bill added up fast, the food and service made it worth the visit

The best thing was the hustle of the busboy upstairs. The worst was an overworked bar tender that was our waiter who couldn’t care enough to listen to our drink order and get it right.
Food was fine.
Its loud upstairs and we were next to three kids birthday parties. Awesome for them, not great for us.
I could not recommend unless your wife really wants sushi. Then it’s good, and go.

Went here for my son’s graduation dinner last night. Quite noisy because of the loud piped-in music and everyone having to raise their voices in order to hear each other, and to order food. Dark ambience which makes the menu difficult to read. They were packed and quite busy being a Saturday. The server took a while to get our orders. Regular sized portions. Food arrived very quickly except for the Grilled beef tenderloin. We ordered Thai fried rice , Crispy beans, Shrimp tempura as well. All were well prepared and delicious with great umami. Highly recommended for special occasions.

I really enjoyed eating here the other day. I wanted to try so many dishes! The server was so friendly and helped me with dinner recommendations. The purple rain roll and green goddess roll were delicious. The tuna with crispy rice was good as well but not made to be a sushi roll so just keep that in mind. The tempura cauliflower was surprisingly very good! The dipping Gochujang sauce was key with this dish. The ambience is very nice here as well. Perfect for a date night.

The service was very good and the staff is professional and knowledgeable. The food quality is excellent and they will customize your menu selections- all of it prepared fresh. A great choice for a quality sushi experience in the Dallas metroplex that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. They also have some non-sushi items on the menu as well. I’ll be back.

A beautiful place, very luxurious and quiet. The best sushi in all of Dallas and I always want to go there. The attention is very warm and I like how the waiters treat people and how fast they serve the food.

Looking for Asian fusion? Shinsei does it great. The popcorn shrimp to braised waygu to cod is delicious. I would pass on the sushi. I prefer more traditional sushi. The service team is great. The old fashion here is spot on.
