First time trying it since the new owners took over. Man, food was terrible. Egg rolls had the life cooked out of them, general tso chicken tasted nothing like general tso chicken, the peanut chicken was mid. From the best Chinese restaurant in the county to now one of the worst. It’s a shame.

The food was amazing before they had the new owners, the food was delicious, and every time I had it at my grandmas I left being full with tons of leftovers, the food was always fresh and flavorful, so I can forgive them for taking a while, but then a relative of the owners died and they were struggling financially, so they sold the restaurant, and the new owners suck, the food is reheated, dry, and bland, it’s not the same, I hope the new owners come back, or the new owners understand no one wants to go there and they make the food better.

I am quite the regular here and while I don’t dislike the staff or the food. I did find pieces of metal in my last take out order. I just don’t know what to say, but I really hope the owners see this and will prevent such mishaps in the future. I think I will be taking a break from this restaurant for a bit. Here is one of the pieces of chicken I was about to bite into when I noticed a piece of metal.
Edit after a month has passed. I decided to eat here and once again I found another metal shaving in my take out order. This time is was for dinner and I had accidentally bitten the small shaving. It makes me really sad because I used to love eating here.

The only thing I order is black pepper chicken the old owners would fill it full of peppers witch I didn’t love, but now the new owners made it a little different the black pepper chicken was still carrying the same flavor and there was less peppers but now the chicken is so dry it was like eating cardboard! Very dissatisfied I’ve never had dried food from the buffet after placing a pickup order until today.

The food is pretty good here, my only complaint is their timing.
Their lunch buffet is their biggest draw, it is advertised as running from 11-2:30pm. It is never ready on time. Usually takes them until 11:30 to get all the items out, but even then it’s not enough to serve the waiting line of people that typically line the buffet table.

The people that run this restaurant are so nice. I walked in there a few months ago and their lunch buffet was only 30 minutes from being over so the lady asked me pick out two things that you like and I will bring them out for you. She said, eat it all if you would like And buffet is so cheap but it’s excellent food Chinese food from here to Morgantown and farther. I highly recommend this quaint little place
