Had a boys’ night out here and it was fantastic! Every dish that came out was a new surprise — full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The food was genuinely amazing — every bite tasted different in the best way possible. Great spot for sharing plates, good laughs, and an overall awesome dining experience. Highly recommend Shing Kee!

Okay so the thing is when I went to the actual location and dined in everything 11/10 from service to food. Like I’ve been thinking about it since I went and i decided to order delivery today and am so sad will only be dining in for future. Ordered at 1pm my driver was on his way at 1:08?? General tso chicken was tender, great portion, white meat but I think from the steam in the packaging the chicken got soggy and the sauce got loose, like really loose. Wonton noodle soup was packaged very well with noodle dumpling and veg separate from broth, and their dumplings are so good I think they are shrimp – but the broth was not seasoned like it was when I dined in, just bland. Lastly I’m sad to say I won’t even try the spring rolls because they look like they’ve been sitting out for a while but I’m sure they are tasty I just cant get over that they look super crunchy in a bad way. Photos are from when I dined in vs when I got takeout.

Hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in Philly. I am a regular there and the core staff members have been there since the open. They deliver consistent delicious food every time. Vietnam style beef light sauce is a unique dish. Highly recommended

First time dining at Shing Kee, and it didn’t disappoint! Despite being packed, the service was prompt and the atmosphere lively. The Cantonese cuisine served here is simply delicious and authentically prepared. I’m already planning my next visit to try more of their mouthwatering dishes. A definite must-visit for anyone craving authentic Cantonese flavors!

I ordered via doodash their General Tso’s I guessed I got influenced by a “IG foodie influencer” said they have the very best General Tso’s that is much better than Chinatown.

I should have not given in. The General Tso’s here I find it so bland and the chicken is too tough. It’s not even crunchy even a lil bit. I don’t know if it’s an off day because today is Monday. Maybe a different cook that cooked it today!

Good thing I doubled dash and ordered my fave fool proof Fried Chicken at Love and Honey Fried Chicken so I will be eating that instead of this General Tso’s. I am so bummed!!!

Fast service, reasonable price and delicious food.
1 thing I really love is, you don’t wait too long for your food after you ordered.
Their salt and pepper squid, chiken wings, salt baked pork chops are a must!!

These reviews are misleading, maybe I’m just not used to Chinese food being prepared this way or maybe we ordered the wrong things but I was unimpressed.

Pork lo mein was made with skinny crunchy noodles and the whole plate tasted burnt.
Beef and broccoli was 85% broccoli and was bland. Sesame chicken tasted like frozen chicken. Sweet and sour soup wasn’t sweet or sour, just slimey. Scallion pancakes where actually really good. White rice was nice and fluffy.

Nothing is cheap, this whole order was 70 bucks.

Ordered house special chow mein and fried rice with beef, chicken and shrimp then the food came out. So why was there mystery meat possibly 3rd meats in both entrees. The chow mein was old and dusty tasting. At this point stopped eating the meat and left with the wildest weirdest after taste, yuuuuuck. Then to top it all off the older Asian waiter was nearly in fight mode forcing a tip, it was a complete disaster. Be careful with the meats there very sis. Never again

The food was very very good. But the service is the reason why I can’t give the establishment 5 stars. The waiting staff seemed to be attentive to every table besides ours and it has been like that both times I have been there. I think next time I will do take out to avoid that. I would still recommend it because the food is delicious.

The best of the best. Always friendly service, and the food is truly delicious. Every time I come into the restaurant to pickup my order, the dining room is filled with happy guests eating their meals.
