Visited during a short trip to downtown Windsor. It came up in our search as having healthy breakfast options. It didn’t dissapointed on that part. They did have some alternative breakfast options when compared to a large traditional breakfast. We were looking for something light that morning. They offer some interesting avocado toast flavor pairings, and for the most part, we were happy with the freshness of the food. It was lacking in flavor. A little salt or brightness from a little lemon would go a long way. Overall, the food was ok. The coffee was good. I thought it was a little on the stronger side. They do have sweet pastries and breakfast sandwiches if you’re looking for something sweeter or more filling. The staff was beyond nice and helpful. There was plenty of seating when we visited. The atmosphere is very relaxed inside. They also share some local items. Would recommend if looking for some light breakfast options and strong coffee.

Super fun coffee shop and wine bar. I love coming here on a regular basis because Caroline and her staff are so friendly and welcoming! The coffee is delicious and her food menu has so many healthy options for breakfast. It’s hard to find a coffee shop that sells more than just pastries in the morning. I absolutely love coming to Shine! Their smoothies are my go-to, and the Carrot Delight is my favorite. They press the carrot juice right before your eyes. It doesn’t get any fresher than that! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the whole experience feels special every time. Shine is truly a hidden gem.

Was looking for a quick coffee to grab and go, stumbled across it and wanted to try it out! The baristas were very nice and answered all my questions, they have a decent amount of coffee choices but they have quite the wall of spirits! While I went with family recommendations, I struggled a bit adjusting to the many drink items but a little skimpy meal menu. Nothing was bad or unattractive when presented, I was looking for a more traditional breakfast. What I did have was delicious and satisfying for a while. So, a good alternative to over stuffed breakfast offerings, I can recommend Shine Cafe to the very health conscious.
