Sat at the sushi bar, and was entertained and dazzled by Will. I was blown away by the quality of sushi at Jackson Hole. This far exceeded my expectations. This is a must for anyone who wants to enjoy sushi while skiing. For $100, I went with the Chef choice, and would % come. Hunter looked busy, supporting the rest of the restaurant while Will served us.

This restaurant deserves a top spot on your Jackson itinerary. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is unforgettable—cozy fireplaces, stylish couches and chairs, a charming balcony, and even thoughtful touches like the soap in the bathroom all contribute to an elevated, inviting vibe.
And then comes the food—somehow even better than the atmosphere. We were lucky to snag seats at the bar, where we watched Hunter and Will craft each sushi dish with incredible skill and precision. We ordered a lot (no regrets!), and while we poured soy sauce into the dish out of habit, we never touched it. The flavors and sauces in every bite were so well-balanced, so delicious, it simply wasn’t needed.
Without a doubt, this was the best meal we had in Teton Village/Jackson—hands down. A huge thank you to Hunter, Will, and Haley for not only the exceptional food but also the warm and attentive hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

This destination dinner was the highlight of our short vacation from Ohio…not only were the food and scenery and ambiance Top Notch , but what even made it more special and unique was getting the chance to talk with the very humble and talented sushi chefs , Will and Hunter , along with waitress, Hailey . It’s the kind of meal/atmosphere/experience that makes you grateful for the experience but also sad that it is over. You all will never be forgotten… keep chasing your dreams and being amazing !!!

Shin Shin is a must in TETON VILLAGE! My husband and I stopped in here on our honeymoon one night and made reservations at the bar! Hunter is the best! We LOVED the menu and sushi so much that we came back the very next night for an app and cocktail! We loved the sushi rolls we got (tuna and salmon own), shishitos, and the wagyu over rice! Everything was so fresh and amazing! We loved the sushi bar experience and ambience as well. Definitely go and share and try as much of this beautifully, crafted menu with your partner and/or friends! ! !

Must-go place for dinner in Teton village. Amazing gem of a place – fantastic sushi that competes with (beats IMO) Nobu type places. Book it – you won’t be disappointed.
Recommend getting a reservation at the bar – great atmosphere with super interactive sushi chefs, working to a backdrop of cool French hip hop and other offbeat music.
Food was highlight. Everything we had was phenomenal. Recommend the karaage appetizer – some of the best I’ve ever had. Maki rolls were unique and creative flavors – we liked the shishito crunch and buri crunch rolls. We ordered a sampling of nigiri – the special butterfish was amazing. For dessert, they hit it out of the park. Sesame ice cream was a huge surprise – great combination of flavors with vanilla, crunchy sesame chips and honey. Huge – good for sharing. Chef gave us a few pieces of the Nama chocolate… wow, if you like chocolate, just order it. Out of this world.
Highly recommend Shin Shin – bet this place will grow a following with the great food, vibe, and service.

Truly exceptional and right in Teton Village!
Pretty sure they had the best fish I’ve ever had (including in Japan and Hawaii). The happy hour is legit with filling bao buns and ramen. Plenty of food options and everything was delicious. Service was top notch as well.

Our favorite meal enjoyed in Teton Village! We came at 5:30pm with a toddler and baby and were treated with excellent service. We loved the citrus salmon and surf & turf maki and all of the signature nigiri. Beautiful setting and top notch sushi freshness & flavors

We dined here this past fall and we had a fabulous time. Chef Josh is a true artist, incredibly knowledgeable, and gave us an amazing dining experience at the sushi bar. Ford knows his wine, sake and can make a mean martini. They both took great care of us and everything is worth sampling. So great to finally have a phenomenal sushi spot in the Village. Can’t wait to try their winter menu!

The food was absolutely terrible. The crispy rice came out cold – how does that even happen? It clearly wasn’t fresh. Then we ordered the “ceviche,” and I don’t think they know what ceviche is, because that definitely wasn’t it. It also had a spoiled aftertaste. The ramen came out cold as well. The pork was chopped into tiny pieces, which was already strange, and there was barely any of it. Overall, this place was a major disappointment.

Shin Shin Japanese restaurant is the best Japanese restaurant in town, without a doubt. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is top-notch. Ilay, the manager, is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Anthony and Josh the chefs, is a master at his craft, creating dishes that are both beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The sushi is particularly noteworthy, with each piece perfectly crafted and full of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Overall, Shin Shin Japanese restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended!
