Located in an outdoor venue with several restaurants. It’s a nicely designed outdoor seating area. A huge screen TV and a bouncy house for the kiddos. As for the food, it’s okay. It’s a simplified version of Korean food. The kim chee is similar to the water version. As a water version, it’s okay it’s a commetcial version without the sourness. It’s a side and not a banchan. The bim bim bap, was the best dish. It’s served with bulgogi, bean sprouts, carrots, zucchini, squash, lettuce on a bed of rice topped with an egg. A side of gochuchang and soy sauce. The spicy pork bulgogi is simply thinly sliced pork stir fried with onions, and stir fried in gochochang. It’s served with sliced lettuce and a mild Asian dressing. The servings are similiar to an Asian all in one bowl. There are two Korean restaurants in the Green Springs area. It’s nice to have an affordable option of Korean Food when you are missing the flavors.

Stopped at The Edge around 7 pm the Sunday after Christmas 2025 and my kids 14, 11, and 9 wanted to try this place b/c they like Ramen. I got each of them a bowl of Ramen with beef. The older woman who took the order & my payment was dry, nonchalant, and unpleasant. When I made my payment she didn’t even say “thank you” like she was doing me a favor instead of being appreciative for my business. The kids said the Ramen package with the flavor packet from the grocery store (that’s about 3 for a dollar?) tastes better than what I paid all this money for at this place. We ended up throwing it away because they didn’t enjoy it, so money wasted, and that sour acting older lady cashier made the visit even worse. I won’t waste my time or cash there again

Had the spicy beef ramen and it had no flavor with a very small portion of meat. They just cooked a pack of noodles from the supermarket which you can just do at home. They didn’t even try to put their own twist to it. A water bottle and ramen was almost $20. Also, the service ruined my appetite and experience even more. Very cold, no thank you’s or smiles from the older lady. The best thing about the location is the outside seating area. Definitely wasted time coming here. Won’t be back!

Ramen noodles are the same thing you get at the grocery store for a $1. This is definitely not authentic and it is definitely noisy with all the foot traffic. The food is not worth $22. I will not come back here again.

Ordered the spicy seafood ramen and am very impressed by the seafood amount and quality! The broth is excellent. We will be coming here again!

I had the kko kko ramen and it was good, nothing special. Service was excellent. I also ordered the kimchi, while it was tasty and a large portion, it was not very spicy.

I make a point to try all the ramen spots around Birmingham. Tried this spot recently and honestly, it didn’t impress me. The Tonkatsu ramen was super basic and didn’t have much flavor. The broth was kind of bland, and the whole dish just felt underwhelming. On top of that, it was way more expensive than it should’ve been for the quality. For the price, I’d expect a lot more. I probably won’t be coming back.

somehow the $2 shin ramen you can get at the dollar store is much better

I’m gone assume the owner was having a bad day , the service was terrible , my daughter ordered the kids ramen I explained that her bowl was very salty and no flavor, she wasn’t interested in resolving the issue by remaking it or possibly giving me a refund she basically shrugged her shoulders at me . I will NOT be returning . Poor Service!!!!!
