Whoever gave this place less than ALL the stars, has no idea what good food is.
I absolutely loved the Ramen 10/10, the dude who made it was taught very well! As someone who recently had lots of access to decent Asian cuisine in Southern California, I must say this place is amazing!
Living back in south Florida now and I will exclusively be ordering my Ramen from these guys! THANK YOU!

This is a food stall in the Bazaar food hall, and such everything you buy has a premium added to it. They charge $20 (pre-tax and tip)for the spicy tonkatsu ramen (forefront in the picture). It came with ONE very thin, almost deli style, slice of “chasu”. It only brought half an egg, which was hard boiled and not marinated. I asked for no mushroom but the soup, as you can see, come very plain. In the background of the picture, you can see the “large” bowl, which is not a larger bowl but same size with more fixings, a whole hard boiled egg, and a couple more slices of the pork.

I would love to express how the food tastes however after today I don’t really care. Three orders placed since they took over the spot formerly occupied by a much better ramen spot. 3 orders cancelled. Today the treatment from the staff at the ramen was the limit for me. Never again. Walked up to the counter to let him know I had a pickup order. He ignores me. When I repatriated she says “I cant help you. We have been closed for an hour.” To which I point out that the app had a live order for me so I was confused. He said “I don’t care – go talk to customer service and shrugged me in the general direction and walked away. When I walk over to what is the customer service desk, it was abandoned. When someone finally showed up I had to flag them down and ask if they could assist. As soon as I said I had an active pickup order for Shimuja from what I can tell the person quickly tapped on the screen in front of them and proudly declared “your order was already cancelled.” The tried to deny that they had cancelled the order as I was standing there and it was because the vendor had already been closed (“the kitchen is only open until this hour today – ignoring the hours posted in the app stated otherwise) – and that they had already been closed. I’m like what??? Maybe it was the universe saying that the bowl of ramen they were charging $30 for really wasn’t worth it at all. But this also goes to Shoma Bazaar’s lack of quality control on their various channels and over their vendors allowing them to operate whenever they feel like it and falsely advertising their hours of operation. When the manager showed up, she said lots of good things but refused to take responsibility for advertising false information about the vendor’s information and denied the hours posted were wrong until I literally showed it to her. That was disappointing and kind of what ended any chance of saving the experience. I left. When I went back to look I found out that they had different operating times posted for every media channel they are on, including their own website. So it’s a total guessing game as to if you’ll know when they or any of their vendors are actually open or cooking. I had quietly stopped going to Shoma Bazaar a long time ago because of the inconsistency of hours and a complete lack of vendor control or accountability. I should have followed my mind and not bothered. Lesson learned this time though and wouldn’t stay quiet about it.

It’s just ok. If it had a cheaper price point, I would have actually given this 5 stars, but for almost $25 a bowl, you would expect real slow cooked tonkotsu broth or fresh noodles or something!
It’s painfully average and painfully generic. You are better off going to one of those local small ramen shops that sell a bowl for like ~$12-15, because they taste exactly the same. This was the Kagoshima Tonkotsu Special.
I will say though, the egg was very good. The broth lacks depth, the noodles are premade, and the “spice” is unsatisfying (i.e. does not add to the flavor, just spicy to be spicy). Also to note, it’s not that big! My husband finished his bowl and was still hungry after.
Maybe the up charge is because you are eating in a “luxury dining hall” situation, but honestly it’s just ok.
Worth getting if you’re super craving ramen and this just happens to be close to you, but other than that I would pass (especially because of the price point + also having to pay to park)

This place was good before. Now they are serving the smallest portion of noodles, 2 tiny slices of pork and half of an egg for $28.

Best ramen in Miami. There is one in downtown and this one in Doral. It is delicious! You want to come back. In Shoma where you can also find other food.

Thank you for bringing a true ramen to Miami. Not only the classics are outstanding but also the key lime version that brings a zesty lime flavor to the broth. Takoyakis are also just like Japan (even though not freshly made on the grill) full of bonito flakes to keep the perfect taste

Absolutely fantastic. Had the spicy tonkatsu and my wife the regular tonkatsu, it was great. The food hall is great with lots of options.
