Could I please give this restaurant more stars!! We’re on a getaway to Colorado for my husband’s birthday. Could not be happier that we found this amazing place to celebrate! Briefly met the owner and she was so sweet. We were seated in the patio with “our well behaved service dog”. The patio is gorgeous! Shaded with beautiful trees and vines so it’s much cooler there than an open patio. The water feature is beautiful and sounds so pretty. Our waitress, Cathy, was sweet and attentive! We had ribeye that was tender and cooked to perfection! Cathy informed us the bread is fresh and baked twice daily. So yummy! Our pup enjoyed a hamburger patty and fresh water. A gentleman, I believe the other half of the owners, brought out my husband’s red velvet cupcake and after a great performance he announced my husband’s birthday then got the other diners to sing Happy Birthday! Fantastic experience! Excellent food and atmosphere!

We loved the food, best meal here in Cortez so far. Artichoke dip, steaks with side and salad, and cheesecake for dessert was good all around! Our waitress was fantastic. I only knocked off one star because I ordered medium rare and it came out medium well. Our waitress was so nice and got it redone for me, but even the second one was still overcooked so I just cut my losses and ate it that way. Overall a good experience!

Usually our service is very good. We went lastnight on a Tuesday. They weren’t that busy. Our server was a young man. He was not good at all. He forgot everything. We had to keep asking. At the end we wanted a box to take some food. We wanted for about 10 minutes we finally left. Not a good experience at all. My son hand daughter-in-law had him before and said he was the same. Very disappointing. This is usually our favorite place to go.

This was a great local favorite and I’m so glad we visited while we were staying in Cortez. We visited at the last 45 min it was opened so we were greeted not very well by the hostess. She didn’t want to seat us. But another hostess got us in and everyone was great after that. They were out of a few menu choices at that point but what we got was delicious! Loved the Potato soup!

Shiloh steakhouse is a fun little place that the locals say it is one place you need to go. After we walked in i could see that they have a live musician playing music on his guitar and singing. With the aesthetics and the music playing together it gives you a nice family gathering feel, like your at one of your family dinner parties. We started off with the fried clam strips with lemon and cocktail sauce. The breading is crisp and the clams are nicely cooked. I got the mango daiquiri and my wife the Arnold Palmer and both drinks are constructed wonderfully. We both got the salad, mine with ranch and my wife got the blue cheese. Both salads are very freash and crisp and the blue cheese was very good. For the main course i got the bacon wrapped filet mignon cooked medium rare with garlic mashed potatoes and steak fries. My wife got the country fried bison steak with garlic mashed potatoes as well. The filet was cooked beautifully and well seasoned so that the bacon wasn’t over powering the filet but complemented it perfectly. The steamed vegetables was nice and didnt taste like any of them are raw. The skin on the steak fries are nice and crispy and the inside has a nice firm soft core and they are also seasoned well. Our server Akira was very attentive and very professional and it felt like she was there to make sure we got taken care of. Over all we are very happy with the food that we have been served and we will definitely be coming back here next time we are down here in Cortez Colorado.

Food was divine! Our preteen and teen loved it, and so did we! The filet and coconut shrimp was plenty for two to split. No one went hungry. Would have been five stars but they were understaffed and simple things like water, silverware, bread were difficult to keep up with, and the wait time from start to finish and in between was less than par for five stars. Signs of the times and economy, but it should not go unstated. Our wait staff were very friendly and courteous and were doing their best to keep up with everyone. No complaints against them at all. Just be prepared to have a longer meal than you may expect, but it is WORTH it.

Our kids from Denver were here for my hubbies birthday so we went to Shilohs for dinner. Of course the service was amazing but the food was incredible. Steaks, salmon, pork were out of this world. Thank you for keeping it local for us.

Having dinner at Shiloh was a great experience! I was there with my family. My wife ordered a grilled chicken breast, my son got a hamburger with veggies from the kids menu, and I had fish and chips. Everything was just perfectly cooked!
