Our bar and restaurant tucked in downtown Columbia has more history than one might expect. What was once the historic Katy Station is now a beloved bar and restaurant among locals, students and visitors alike. It is special to think that our building once served university students traveling along the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad in the 1900s. In fact, we have three historical markings on our property to remind us! Our historic red brick building still serves Columbians, but now as a beloved local spot to congregate and enjoy meals, drinks, sports and each other’s company.
Sports bar with an MU Tigers fan base who come for games, beer, pub grub & occasional live music.

This was my only second time I’ve been there (first one was back in ’19 with my grad school friends), and had made a lunch stop there before heading to the Mizzou Softball game that afternoon; also my first time trying out the Famous Shiloh Burger and was delicious! Also the food came out within 5 to 10 minutes and the service was very quick (was the first customer of the day few minutes after opening), while only spending 30 minutes in the restaurant! Would come back again to try some different food, as there is much to try!

We stopped in for a few snacks in the afternoon after shopping and ordered three appetizers. It took us 30 minutes to get our food and people that came behind us got their food before we did. One of our appetizers was friend pickles, they were served to us burnt. The waitress didn’t mind serving us burnt food at all. We had to get the attention from the bartender and ask him if this was normal and he said no then he took the pickles back and brought us a fresh new batch, they were very good! but it seems to me that a waitress would know not to serve burnt food.

Swanky joint at the end of Broadway. Great for food or a drink. They run several specials during the week that appeal to people of all ages. They also have events such as live music & bingo. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. 10/10.

Fun vibe. But it was excessively slow for meals to come out. I understand they were running behind. We were told 90 minutes for our food. And it still took over 2 hours for our group to get their food. I felt horrible for the poor servers. They were kind. I am wondering if it would be possible for them to refill drinks and provide updates as customers continue to wait.

Went here for lunch after church…not very busy and we chose to dine inside. Our server was nice. The food was good and hot. We both had the Western burger mine with a pasta salad and the other with fries. Did not get asked about refilling my water or the coffee. We finished eating and waited a bit for the check. All in all however it was a good visit.

We ate here as a group of 4. I ordered the French dip. The meat was fatty and both the sandwich and the au jus were cold. I had ordered steamed broccoli as a side and it came out ice cold. Server said he would bring out a new batch and never brought it. Our friend ordered ribs and they were cold and had lots of fat on them. Very disappointed. Quality of food has gone downhill
