Absolutely loved our experience! The cozy, Japanese home-style atmosphere with warm, inviting lights made the meal feel so comfortable and relaxing. The wagyu nigiri was melt-in-your-mouth, slightly seared to perfection with a rich flavor. The sashimi salmon was incredibly fresh and delicate, practically dissolving on your tongue. The baked mussels were extra savory and perfectly cooked, while the fresh oysters were so briny, crisp, and so refreshing. And the deep-fried Oreo with vanilla ice cream was the perfect sweet finish, crispy on the outside, soft and gooey inside, with creamy ice cream to balance it out. And Gabriel, our waiter, was super friendly and attentive, checking in on us multiple times and making the experience even better. An amazing spot for anyone who loves high-quality sushi in a warm, inviting setting!

WOW! What a great new sushi spot in Santa Rosa! I first noticed the welcoming atmosphere on a chilly evening—it felt so warm and inviting inside. The server (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name) took such great care of us. One of our group has a gluten allergy and he reassured her that he would take great care of her. She received a beautiful extra special roll that she loved. Another friend tried the Green Curry Ramen, concerned it might be too spicy. The server assured her it was more sweet than spicy, though she did find it had more heat than expected. Overall the experience was great. The food and service were excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for 4 friends who needed to catch up on life.

As soon as we stepped inside, the staff were welcoming and attentive. This set the mood for our entire dining experience. Each dish was a picture perfect presentation. The Bang Bang shrimp were large and tasty. The Kappa Nautura Roll was refreshing and the quality of the fish used in it was outstanding as was the special sauce served with it. The depth of flavor in the broth and the seasoning on the tender pork in the ramen soup was a treat. The soy flavored egg was cooked perfectly. We will be back. So many things we want to try on that menu. Excellent quality at reasonable prices.

If you love great sushi, stop your search and come here. Don’t forget to order the special spicy scallop roll—you won’t regret it. The outdoor patio was a lovely spot to enjoy our meal on a September afternoon, complemented by the perfect jazz music. We’ll definitely be back!

Great hospitality. Yue the owner is very smart, kind and hospitable at the same time. She worked in Tech prior to this and apparently started this restaurant as a passion with her husband.
We entered the restaurant thinking it will be a random quick meal kind of a place but spent quality family time with our kids while enjoying the good vibe of this place. Highly recommend to anyone considering a sushi stop

My husband and I went to Shiki Sushi on Mendocino today! They took over the restaurant from the former owners of Aji Sushi.
We had an amazing experience! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming! We sat at the bar! My husband ordered the Appetizer version of the Tempura Combo. Very tasty. He also had the hot Sake!
I ordered the Sake Salmon and am very particular about how thin I want the salmon sliced! Amazing. The presentation of my salmon was spectacular! Cold Asahi for me! They are open for lunch and dinner! We are looking forward to trying new items the next time we visit them.

DELICIOUS sushi!!! A grade fresh fish, salmon from Scotland, toro and other specials. All sauces and soups made in-house, including low sodium soy sauce. It’s my favorite sushi place in Sonoma County at the moment and I’ve eaten everywhere. Ambience is casual; staff is superb; prices are reasonable.

The owner is always there whenever we go and it incredibly sweet & very knowledgeable about he whole entire menu. I’ve been going to this restaurant since it was boathouse sushi, and i have to say this new ownership does not disappoint! the garlic edamame is SO much better than how it used to be in the past, and the fish is always fresh and flavorful! this is my go to dine in place!
