The best hot pot restaurant in Boston hands down. Super high quality meats, fresh veggies, and two amazing dipping sauces (housemade soy sauce with fresh garlic and scallions and a housemade sesame sauce).

That’s the right hotpot place you should try, after I had beef slices, I want to dump my supermarket beef. So tender and fresh. The lunch set worth the price!

What can I say? This place is amazing. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. The food was phenomenal and the serving size was very generous. The waiters we’re extremely helpful, not intrusive and very knowledgeable of all the items on the menu. The food was amazing. Every bite was satisfying and with the side orders, they were a good distraction while the food cooked in the hot pot. As a post drink, I ordered the in house sake which was dry and left a good warm feeling as I drank it. I observed traditional Japanese gestures of respect which I very much appreciated. I definitely will go again!

Our first time trying the hot pot. We had one assigned server who worked closely with us to create our order and assisted us on how to enjoy the food. Three other employees would attend to our food needs. I dropped a napkin..I didn’t know until a clean one appeared. The flavors changed as the soup/broth cooked my food. Fresh Fresh Seafood and noodles.

What a great new gem on Moody Street! Just when I thought I would be further disappointed by another restaurant on Moody, I was so pleasantly surprised by delicious shabu shabu in a modern, clean setting! The short rib cubes were juicy and tasty, and the squid karaage had a nice crunch to it. The deluxe set we ordered included chicken, pork, seasonal veggies, and tonkatsu broth. The huge silver pot was a sight to see and the bubbly broth fun to throw all the ingredients in! Definitely also order sides like dumplings and extra veggies to throw in as well. “Fish paste” is also a must try. Trust me. It’s a fun interactive dining experience, and the service is so great. The bartender even came by to check on my drink. I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve just had the BEST dining experience here! The food? Amazing! We had the seafood, beef, and tempura. Extremely tender meat and flavorful seafood. Generous servings and plenty of options. A very simple, clear menu. The staff? On point. Friendly, helpful, unintrusive, but perfectly attentive. Will definitely visit again.

My friend and I visited Shiki Shabu Shabu on a busy Saturday night, and the staff was personable and attentive. We had the house and tonkatsu broth, which were both light and flavorful. For cocktails, I recommend the Paloma, and it was refreshing. Everything from the ambiance down to the food was terrific. However, there isn’t a sauce bar, but don’t be shy and order your hotpot essentials with the staff. Their soy sauce is fantastic; trust me, there’s something special about it. Jing, the owner, came by multiple times to check up on our table, and in between checking in, he was also behind the bar helping the servers make cocktails. A+ for being a hands-on owner! I would drive another 40 minutes for this experience again!

Hands down the best shabu experience I’ve had in awhile! The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff here are super friendly and attentive. Parking was easy too at one of the nearby parking lots. (Spruce St Parking lot is about a block away) Highly recommend if you’re looking for a date night spot or just want to catch up with friends.
