Long wait times. Pool noodle insulation doesn’t keep the cold/hot air from rushing in every time someone opens the door. They serve beer past its sale date. They bring food out randomly so one person may have been completely served before another person in your group gets their first item. Some dinners come with soup or salad. Seems to be their choice because they just bring whatever they want. Wait staff is constantly distracted by the small children that are darting in and out of the living space that is part of the restaurant. Food is good, seems understaffed. I would recommend calling the order in and picking it up or plan for 90+ minutes for dinner with spotty service from the wait staff.

I’ll preface by saying I’ve always loved coming here. I bring anybody from out of town to this place and any family events are always at Shiki however my lunch time experience today has most likely put an end to that. Firstly when I place my order it’s very rude for the waitress to say “is that all?” With a face that’s sucked a sour lemon, sorry I don’t want the whole menu for a light lunch? Secondly I’ve always loved the apple sake and I get it every time I come here. Today it tasted water down and not even close to what I’ve received in the past but I kept it because I ordered it, and also because I never got the glass of water I asked for . I ordered Ika Tempura and a salad for appetizers and I will say the Ika tempura was great as always but I never received the salad. This could of course all been corrected easily with a word to the sour faced server but she never came back to our table at any point before we left. Minor complaints include the Ika tempura coming out at the same time as our rolls and when I ordered the sake I only got one cup even though we were a party of two. Sad to see this place proving such poor service at the price range it should be better.

Never had Sushi before, tried Scorpion, Pirate, Angry Dragon, and Lion King rolls they were all tasty! Waitress was busy, but attentive. The place was very clean much better than other Chinese food in town.

Ordered the spicy maki combo. There was almost no meat in the rolls. It was mostly what they call crunch. I told the waitress about it and she just shrugged her shoulders and said OK. I barely ate half my food and had zero interest it taking the rest home.

By far, the best Hibachi Sushi in the area! In fact, one of the best anywhere!! Tried a little of everything, sushi bar appetizers (Yellowtail Jalepeno was definitely a favorite) , Hawaiian Poke Bowl, and Hibachi Entree (Shrimp was grilled to perfection). Everything was well prepared, quick service and very kind and pleasant staff.
And don’t forget the desserts. We had a chocolate pastry that was so light, creamy, decedent…… so yummy, so tasty!!

Bad service! The waitresses are rude and unprofessional service staff took there sweet time. Dirty dishes.I orders a wine and their where lips mark on it,I asked a new glass gave me the Same glass.food good but took to long.

UPDATE: We came back with family of 6. Saturday night. ALL the food was excellent, plates were clean (yay!), everybody happy. Yes, we’d make the trip next time.

The sashimi and sushi raw fish was excellent. But the rest of the food was meh. Atmosphere was fine.
Service? Wait staff was fine. But the plates didn’t look particularly clean. Yuk.
We’d traveled from another town hoping Shiki Hibachi would be better than the usual fair near our home. But it wasn’t worth going out of our way for. If we were already in the neighborhood, and absolutely must have sushi, then we’d try again. Otherwise, no.

Updating my review as I sit in here. Don’t recommend this place. The customer service is the worst ive seen. The few workers they have are extremely rude. We’ve been here for an hour and have only received a salad. The food we finally got was good but not worth the unbelievable wait and rude workers.
