we visited this place for valentines day, booked a table a month in advance as we were planning this trip specifically to Dresden. I fell in love with their instagram and reviews and expectations were in line with the decor and prices. What a disappointment it was that we had to wait for our table for about an hour! the staff is diligent, but their approach is mechanical and insensitive, I think the owner himself does not understand that a restaurant and food are a nice atmosphere, good service and passion in the dishes! The sushi itself was delicious, the fish melted in your mouth, the taste of the rice was perfect, but it was noticeable that they were made carelessly and in a hurry. The tables are wobbly, the sofas are absolutely uncomfortable and the chairs… you can see that the interior is very cheap. we had to remind the waiter several times about our drinks and desserts. price and quality …. Our Valentine’s Day was ruined by such an attitude I got a huge feeling of disappointment My partner’s back hurt all evening after this place. By the way, I advise you to ask for soy sauce right away! Because you will have to wait a long time for it

Great quality sushi. The ingredients are very fresh & the size of the sushi rolls are big! The crab is actual crab & not the commercial one that low-cost places put.
I highly recommend it. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is also nice. The interior is very modern. The price-taste-portion ratio is reasonable! It’s not cheap but I think it’s worth it.

Excellent food and service. I thoroughly enjoyed my non-alcoholic cocktail and my 3-course meal. I fully recommend SHIKI Restaurant & Cocktailbar if you like Asian cuisine and Japanese food. I will be back for sure.

Amazing experience. Choosing from the menu was already a hard task because everything sounded so good. In the end we chose the scallops and the bento surprise and we did not regret it at all. The scallops were really fresh and we got some sushi creations that I had never experienced before, like with asparagus or beef steak.
Additionally, the service was super attentive so we could enjoy the dinner. There was another guest which came to disturb us and the waiters very fast found another table for us so we could eat in peace and when they realized what happened they apologized several times for the behaviour of this person. They even gave us a plate carpaccio as apology, so that was definitely kind of them (and as the rest of the food amazingly tasty).
The selection of drinks is also great, from elaborate cocktails to a lot of brands of whiskey, tequila, gin…

Ran into this restaurant and turned out it’s so good. Tastefully-decorated,spacious and cozy ambiance;the food is really fabulous and attentive service. Very happy to dine here on the first day in Dresden and it made my trip indeed

It is not true what you are saying. We asked for a table and the host showed us two options: outside and inside but he did not provide us with the menu. Your restaurant was occupied by 50% max.
We were 3 but inside of your box you had chopsticks only for one person.
So, before replying on my review make sure your information is correct.

Awful service, actually there is no service. Employees are busy with their own life. Nobody gave us the menu within 10 minutes, I needed to go and take it by myself. No sticks or soy sauce on the table unless you ask. They brought sushi but you can eat it by hand or fork. I can write more stories about that “serves” but I don’t want to waste my time.

Overall the taste of the food and services from the waiters was great. But I can give only 2 stars because we were really disappointed with what we got. Ordered Tempayaki Royal for four persons for 160€ in total. For that much price we were dissatisfied because it stated on the menu that there’s meat, fish and seafoods. But unfortunately was only meat and fish we got. As we thought there’s could be another plate is coming, the waiters said nope. The chef only gave us meat and fish. Big disappointment because we were expecting for seafoods that’s why we ordered that for the place.
After asking the waiters, he said he can compensate us with few shrimps or hot drinks. well, damaged had been done, we left with disappointment. Paid more than 200€ for 4 person just to feel annoyed.
Hopefully next time the restaurant could inform us first if there’s some things are missing on the menu/dishes.

We were here on the 3rd day after opening. The restaurant offers a mix of vietnamese, japanese and steakhouse food. It looks very nice and modern. The staff was very friendly and fast. Unfortunately the taste and quality of the food was not satisfying (look was ok) especially if you consider the high price level. We will try again in a few month .. let’s hope it will develop.

Food was very tasty, atmosphere was cool too. Food presentation and portion was also nice. It’s bit expensive but definitely worth eating. Only problem I had was, don’t know why but one of the staff(male) was so rude. I just ignored but it was sad, Totally uncalled for.
