Food was pathetic and embarrassing. Katsu fish was fried in stale oil and smelled very fishy. Pork curry was more like a curry colored starch paste with few pieces of pork and vegies. Just not edible.
The lady at the counter was very rude too. Bad taste overall.

Food: crispy tonkatsu cutlet but the portion is tiny for the price.
Service: friendly clerk up front to take orders
Atmosphere: shared space inside a food court

I visited Shiho Donkatsu on September 25, 2025 and was extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered the chicken katsu, which used to be a favorite when this place was at its peak a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, the quality has plummeted. The katsu was greasy, mushy, and had an off taste, almost like it was fried in stale oil.
Worse, I felt unwell shortly after eating—swollen lips. My 10 year old daughter felt the same way. The restaurant used to be a good place, with fresh ingredients and great flavors, but it feels like they’re cutting corners now. The service wasn’t even good. The lady on the counter wasn’t polite, and she was frowning the whole time. Avoid this place.

The food was delicious and very clean. The chicken katsu was huge and perfectly cooked. What I loved about it was it was juicy and not dry. The pork katsu with cheese was delicious too.

The king-sized donkatsu is the way to go! I underestimated how much I would enjoy this. Super crunchy and flakey! The meat itself was pretty moist and tender as well. For my preferences, they give a good portion of rice and cabbage (which has a sweet salad dressing on it). Lots of katsu sauce too.
This place is located inside The Source food court, so expect a bit of a wait on busy evenings. Not bad for the price!

Randomly came here. I love cury and Katsu. I got the Donkatsu here. I was a bit shocked at all the negative comments, I was going to leave a 4 star based on my overall experience, but with all the bad reviews I thought I’d help them out a bit and hopefully ppl might give a second chance. The Katsu was cooked well. Nice and crispy. The curry, though a bit sweeter than expected was nice and was in separate dish to pour on how I liked. The miso was great and the cabbage was food as well. At a total price of $16.11 it was a little expensive but with everything else being so pricey this seems like the new norm.
Def give them a try.

Food was made to order. Made fresh and delicious. If you’re craving cheese and pork katsu, try the number 3.

I used to come here a lot, but after today… no more. They use the Covid excuse to raise prices and dramatically reduce portions. I get the raising prices but to reduce the portion to over 50% is a bit too much. Expect to leave hungry at a $18 price tag for a dish here. Look at the picture and be the judge yourself. Such a shame.

Busy on a Saturday night, there’s usually only one staff member working so expect some wait time. Food is top. Service is friendly. Food court gets really loud and hot with no AC.

The cheese tonkotsu was really delicious!! The portion was decent too, the only minor complaint is with the katsu sauce (a warmer or curry sauce would be better)
