First time here…food was delicious. Met the owner…cool guy…good selections to choose from. Ordered the chicken katsu which was great, and the sukiyaki and the fish and shrimp plate. Yummy grinds. If you guys are in the area ..come check him out. Support local businesses!!

Stopped here quickly to grab lunch today (9/23/2024) and everything was delicious! I ordered a chicken katsu bento box and the owner made it fresh (I heard the oil sizzling and everything). The owner was also very kind and kept thanking me for being patient even though it took less than 15 minutes. The chicken was super crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I also bought a bag of Kohakutō (an agar agar candy that is soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside) and it was also interesting to try! The price for one bento box is also super good for the amount of food.

Charming and cozy place with old-school vibe. Three small tables to eat on inside, if you want to watch the cute owner smile and greet all who visit. He made our meals fresh, but if I wanted to grab and go, I would have gladly picked something out from what was available. Just got back from Tokyo, so comparing, the curry sauce in my katsu curry was just as yummy as anything I had there. And the chicken katsu with it was juicy and the perfect pairing. My friend’s sukiyaki bento had all the good “sides”. I want one of those next time. Definitely recommend!

Stopped at Shiggy’s quickly on our way to the airport and it was a delightful last stop to our trip! Not only was the food delicious, but also Shiggy himself was so nice and accommodating! The portions were very generous for a great price. Everything was made on the spot. Would highly recommend stopping here or ordering out!

I love this place! I come here quite a bit since it’s close to my office. Shiggy always has a smile on his face and he is always so, so sweet. There’s a nice selection on the menu and the food is always so good. There’s also a whole table of different types of bentos, sushi, meats, etc along with a few snacks. There’s even more stuff on the counter!

I went to Shiggy’s after eating the Vegetable Croquette and found that his store is located next to Seven-11 by Jolly Bee in Liliha. /Although they open at 5:00am and I went there at 6:50am EVERYTHING was still fresh & hot. They even made the DELICIOUS INARI SUSHI!!!!! The Karaage Chicken, Shrimp Shumai and the Vegetable Croquettes were ALL oishi!!!!!!’l
