The sushi and vegan options here are genuinely great – fresh, tasty, and the reason I keep coming back. Unfortunately, everything else about the grilled items is a total disaster.
The steak is hands-down the worst I’ve ever had in my life. We’re talking gray, dry, leathery, overcooked IHOP-level sadness. Grilling a steak isn’t rocket science, so I truly don’t understand how they mess it up this badly every single time. Same goes for the mixed grill (steak, chicken, shrimp) – the portions are comically small, like someone cut everything with toddler safety scissors. You get maybe 3–4 tiny bites of each protein for $14, and none of it is edible. LOOK AT MY PHOTO… What the heck is that?? I’d happily pay $24 if they just made it a normal-sized, properly cooked plate, but as it stands it feels like a joke. Honestly, Shibuya should just remove all grilled meats from the menu entirely. Do that and I’d bump the food rating straight to 5 stars.
Biggest takeout trap: THEY GIVE YOU ZERO SAUCES. No spicy mayo, no eel sauce, no teriyaki, no soy sauce packets – nothing. You get home, open your beautiful sushi, and realize you’re stuck either eating it completely plain or digging out that crusty, half-expired teriyaki bottle from the back of the fridge. It’s the same letdown as getting chicken wings with no sauce or toast with no butter. Sure, you can eat it… but you just dropped $80–$100 for Uber Eats and waited an hour and now your dinner is just bland and you’re salty. Super frustrating and easily avoidable.
Bottom line: amazing sushi, solid vegan dishes, but skip anything grilled and remember to specifically ask for every single sauce you want when you order takeout – or you’ll regret it.
The staff are amazing btw.
I tried the salmon sushi pizza (espectacular! Unique!), the sushi rice tuna tower (again espectacular!) and their grilled salmon with jasmine rice (again espectacular!) and their fried Oreos with ice cream. Y far, one of the best, if not the best! In Weston. Congratulations to Shibuya!!
We ordered the Aspen and Vail Poke Bowls, and both were outstanding. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, with vibrant flavors that blended beautifully — every bite had the perfect balance of fish, rice, and toppings. You could really taste the quality and care that went into each bowl.
The highlight, though, had to be the Sushi Pizza. It was creative, crispy, and loaded with flavor — easily one of the best sushi appetizers we’ve ever had. The textures were spot on: crunchy base, melt-in-your-mouth fish, and the perfect drizzle of sauce on top.
Overall, Shibuya impressed us in every way — great food, great service, and a clean, modern atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you instantly want to come back to. Highly recommend to anyone in the Weston area looking for top-notch sushi and poke!
