I really wanted to like this restaurant because of their build your own ramen bowl, sigh.
What I did enjoy, the noodles, mushrooms, edamame, and seaweed salad were okay. The very slight hint of spice from the garlic chili oil was also okay. The best part of the meal was the tofu. They gave ample tofu portions for the ramen bowl and they were thick cut.
I just didn’t love the veggie broth. I also least liked that my broccoli and bok choy weren’t fresh. What else does a vegetarian need but freshly prepared veggies? The best Ramen spot in the DMV with a great veggie/vegan bowl is in Bethesda.
I don’t recommend for veggie ramen, better off making Immi ramen as home. I would be open to try this venue again in the future if improvement are made.

STAMP!! Their Oyakodon Chicken Donburi ($19 a rice bowl with grilled chicken, soy simmered mushrooms, edamame, bean sprouts, soft egg, scallion oil, crispy leeks, & garlic chives). Bursting with flavor, hearty, tasty, & fulfilling!!
STAMP!! Their Mazemen ($19 a brothless ramen with a crunchy chicken Katsu with a curry sauce, broccoli, kimchi, pickled ginger, & a crunchy rice cake). Again, without the broth, super flavorful, with crunchy sweet’ish curry chicken Katsu!!
LIKE THAT! Their Pork Mazeman ($19 brothless ramen noodles with ground pork, scallions, edamame, pickled ginger, soft egg, & grilled corn). A nice meaty pork, warm noodles, & tasty corn on this one!!
STAMP!! Their Spicy Tuna Rice Cake ($8 a rice cake with spiced up cooked tuna on the inside). This caught me off guard!! Spicy, meaty, & well seasoned!!
STAMP!! Their Sapporo Ramen ($19 with miso pork broth, miso pork, miso corn, soy simmered mushrooms, & bamboo, black garlic oil, a soft egg, scallions, & nori). THIS!! A nice & spicy broth, tender pork, meaty mushrooms, & garlicky!!
STAMP!! Their Matcha Panna Cotta with Black & White Sesame Sauce ($7 a creamy gelatin infused with Japanese matcha green tea powder). Creamy, sweet, & outright tasty!!

The ramen was so good!! Flavorful broth with premium ingredients – the pork was well prepared and not fatty. Love the Sapporo Ramen. I also got kids size portions for my kids and they loved the shio broth – light broth with amazing flavor. Huge portions! Will definitely be returning in this cold weather.

Shibuya Eatery is a great new ramen place. I had the build your own ramen with a shoyu base and pork belly. There are a ton of options and it is also vegan friendly, my friend was very happy with her bowl. The bowl I had was very affordable for the portion I had. It was a good amount of food and I leftovers after. The pork was freshly cooked and didn’t have that freezer taste that a lot of chain ramen places have. The dining room was very clean and the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. The owner Deron was super friendly and frequently checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying the food. Shibuya Eatery is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and I truly hope people come out to support it! They also take In-Kind which is super convenient.

I love this place! It’s such a hidden gem. I came yesterday and I’m from Virginia but I will definitely have to come back for more! I created my own bowl of Ramen, which came out perfect I also got a side of kimchi, which honestly is the best kimchi I’ve had. And I also got the ginger pear, juice, top-tier thank you so so much please open a spot in Woodbridge!

My new favorite place to get Ramen, Donburi and other treats. Great location in Friendship Heights with a friendly staff and a talented chef/owner who really cares about the quality of the food and drinks. I love popping in for lunch or dinner especially this time of year for a warm bowl of ramen. Run don’t walk here to support this excellent small business!

I have eaten at this new restaurant twice and can’t wait to go again. It is a wonderful addition to Friendship Heights. The ramen bowels are so savory and the build your own option allows for an amazing choice of vegetables, proteins, and sauce, and crunchy toppings. Everything seemed very fresh. The manager and all the kitchen staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are moderate. Try it!

I took my son out for lunch at Shibuya for the first time today and we’ll definitely be back! The food was amazing and the staff couldn’t possibly be more helpful. I had a Donburi bowl and it was perfect — the flavors and quality are top notch — it’s the kind food you’d expect to get at a fancy restaurant but served in a charming fast-casual format. My son had the ramen and he loved it. Everything was perfect and we’ll be back soon!
