Some of the freshest Poke in Lihue and maybe Kauai, not over seasoned, not too much soy, not too much sesame oil, natural flavors. The ginger poke was amazing and tasted like real ahi. If you like fresh fish, if you like flavors that pop, if you like high quality seafood. Wow! The sushi roll was to die for. We are getting spoiled with quality food spots on Kauai lately. Mahalo! Dynamite! My all time favorite sushi roll ❤️ Shibu’s are formally known as Poipu Poke Shack and just reopened in Tip Top in Lihue. Quality fish and a local favorite selection of sushi, poke, AND the owners are both born and raised on Kaua’i. Stopping here is a must.

Poipu Poke was super fresh and delicious! We shared a poke bowl with wasabi ahi and scallop poke — the scallop was a first for me, and the cashier even let me sample it. A bowl was around $20, totally worth it. It’s inside the grocery store and so tasty — I’m definitely coming back to try more flavors!

We absolutely enjoyed this hidden gem! The food was refreshing and tasty. Service was quick and staff is friendly. I thought we’d have to walk back to our hotel to sit down and eat, but there were tables in the back. Located inside the Kuluaui Market.

so soo yummy! got the poke bowl with garlic ahi and wasabi salmon. ahi is as fresh as you can get. both choices were perfectly saucy and flavorful. the seaweed salad is so good too. need to come back!

Really delicious poke. $18 for a bowl and choice of 2 proteins. I had the ginger ahi tuna and tofu poke and both were so good and super fresh. Loved the seaweed salad too.

Ok here’s the deal. Been coming to Kauai for 60 years. This is by far the best poke on the island. The young couple, Cody & Johnna) that run it are amazing too. I’m a poke snob and a restaurant owner and investor, I understand how hard it is to do what they pull off daily. Made totally frssh daily and running out of the old Kukui’ula store, it’s my family’s favorite go to spot for epic (truly amazing) Poke. This is better than Koloa Market (live their pork an d buy bulk fish there) and Ishihara’s (now closed on the west side). There’s good poke in Lihue and Hanamaulu but for the South Side The Poipu Pome Shake rules and is Na Ka Oi and Da Kine for realzzz.

The best poke I had on Kauai while on vacation. You get large fresh portions for the price. There are many types of poke to choose from. Before my evening flight, I had to go back to have some more. Next time in Kauai, I’m heading straight here from the airport for my poke fix!
