We used to visit this restaurant occasionally, but this time was disappointing on every level—food, service, and atmosphere.
We ordered Fahsa, which was burnt and had a bitter taste. The Zirbian meat came with only one very small piece of meat; after calling the waiter, more meat was brought, but it shouldn’t have been an issue to begin with.
We paid around $70 for very poor-quality food. There are many better restaurants at the same price point that offer much higher quality.
Unfortunately, this experience was our worst here.

I love this place. It’s a great place to take the family and friends and enjoy the outdoor dining area. The food is amazing. I love their pistachio Frappuccino, Haleem and the bun kababs are amazing. The staff is awesome and always smiling ☺️

We were really excited to come back to Shibam Restaurant after countless amazing experiences at another branch, but this visit was a letdown. We drove almost 90 minutes for a meal, only to get cold, dry, burnt lamb chops , rice and hummus. When we asked for it to be reheated, it came back just as bad. The staff even tried to tell us that they are giving us FREE meat.
The food was nothing like what we remembered, and honestly, it was pretty disappointing. The staff was nice, but we won’t step in again.

I have been visiting this restaurant for about 8 years, roughly once a year. Unfortunately, the experience has always been inconsistent — sometimes the food is good, and other times it is very bad.
The prices are high for the quality offered. The rice is often broken, and the meat frequently includes dry, poorly cooked pieces in the same plate.
Based on my repeated experiences, it seems that Yemeni customers receive better food, while others often get much lower quality meals.
After several disappointing visits, I recommend people think twice before coming here. I have decided to stop visiting this restaurant altogether.

I recently visited Shibam Restaurant and was truly impressed by the quality of food, warm hospitality, and inviting atmosphere. I tried the Lamb Fahsa with bread and Lamb Haneeth, and both dishes were absolutely delicious, tender, and full of authentic flavor. The staff were extremely respectful, friendly, and attentive, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a clean, cozy ambiance that perfectly complements the traditional Yemeni dishes.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!

Awesome arabian food. Shibam city has a unique flavor compared to the other Mediterranean restaurants which is from Yemen. They have many options to try from. I loved the taste of the meat dishes and the quantity provided. Will definitely go again to try different dishes.
Update(2020): There are some chances that you may not receive the order as you ordered as they take the order but the time you go pickup, they say that item is not there anymore and I have to either wait another 30 mins or take something else. Happened twice with me. They should take orders only if they can fulfill the order.

The food is good, the tenderness of lamb and the flavor of rice, is good. Not sure about how the chicken tastes, but the lamb haneet and Lamb mandi always gets you, the juicy faty meat is all you need.
