Incredible food, absolutely devoured everything! The sichuan spicy boiled fish was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The pork buns melted in my mouth. And the dry pot lamb was sizzling in my mouth. Loved everything and I’m definitely coming back! The service was fast and the ambiance is cute. I’m so glad I found this place ❤️ Everytime I’m craving Chinese I’ll be sure stop by!! ❤️❤️

Everything we had was tasty: had little kids with us so we stuck to the milder, more familiar end of the spectrum, but the beef with broccoli, sesame chicken, scallion pancakes, and even fries were fresh and delicious. My kids strongly approved of their taro boba tea. We also tried a sticky rice snack that came with dipping syrup: big hit.

We still dearly miss the wonderful Thai place formerly in this location, but new friends are also good.

I was just saying “wow” every minute. It had a wonderful atmosphere and even better food. Very flavorful dishes with immaculate presentation! Easily the best Chinese food in Boston.

Nice variety, food feeds more like home cooking, cozy environment. Good value from both a price and portion size standpoint and most importantly: tastes great!

Dishes were well made. Lots of spicy and nonspicy options depending on your palate. We are definitely coming back. There’s several more dishes I want to try like the clay pots, pork belly dishes, spicy appetizers, etc.

We were excited to try this new restaurant that went into the old Doc Bua location. The space is very open and well lit with a relaxing vibe. Service was friendly and efficient.

We tried the salt and pepper soft shell crab, sweet and sour pork, and water spinach. All were fairly well cooked. The crabs were in smaller pieces and had a strange taste that we couldn’t place, maybe from the oil. Would not order this again. The pork had a tangy and crisp coating but had big chunks of fat. Otherwise, a decent dish. The water spinach was the best, very flavorful and still crunchy, not overcooked. They provided a free cold coconut soup at the end which was a nice touch. It would be a better finish had it been colder and a tag sweeter.

Overall, we had a decent meal that felt authentically Chinese. This place has promise. We will come back to try more dishes.

Came on a Friday night. Food was ok. Fried dumplings were not homemade, they were frozen and lacked flavor. Sesame chicken was a bit dry. Service was a bit slow but they were busy

Absolutely one of the best Hunan restaurants I’ve had in the U.S.! The flavors are incredibly authentic — bold, spicy, and full of depth. It’s not just heat, but that rich, layered Hunan-style aroma that makes every dish so satisfying.

Head with Chopped Chili was perfectly cooked — tender, fresh, and packed with flavor. The Spicy Stir-Fried Beef had amazing wok hei, super tender and well-seasoned. And the Dry Pot Chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and seriously addictive.

Service was friendly and attentive, and they were happy to adjust the spice level. The food came out quickly, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable — great for both family dinners and gatherings with friends.

It’s honestly hard to find such authentic Hunan cuisine here. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know!

This is the best Mapo Tofu I’ve had in the greater Boston area. It is one of my favorite comfort foods and I’ve tried it everywhere. I was excited to see this new restaurant opened close to my apartment and just had to try the mapo tofu there.

I’m so excited with how good this is. I’ll be going here so often now. It is perfectly balanced with spices. I love how they add pork to the dish which is very traditional. Most places remove it automatically but it’s so much better made in an authentic way.

Truly delicious and I can’t wait to go back and try more things from their menu.
