Great place. The soup and salad weren’t great, but the steak and chicken combo were great. The portions were messed up, I got a lot of steak and chicken, but not many veggies. The chef we had (voka) was very friendly, and made the experience much better. I would recommend this place if you ever want good hibachi. I will definitely come back here soon.

I had a great experience! The cook was very charismatic and good at what he did with a lot of fun tricks and flourish. The food was absolutely delicious. I suggest the scallops with the sauce and the flite mignon. They were to well cooked and tasty! The menu was a bit small, with just different combinations of the same hibachi dish, though the lists of meats was large. I do not suggest the shrimp as it was quite overcooked, though that may have just been a fluke.
All in all, I definitely suggest going there. It’s really fun with a group and I’m sure it would be fun as a date (as long as you’re okay with a third wheel cooking your food).

I go here once every few months with my wife or family. What I love about this place are the chefs. All personable, very funny. The service is great. They also have a groupon that gives you extra money off of your dinner. Prices are comparable to other Japanese steakhouses in the area.

It was my first visit and I was surprisingly very pleased! Our usual stop is House of Japan, but they had not yet begun indoor seating, so we found Shi Chi and thought we should give it a shot.

Everything was very clean and social distancing was practiced. I felt safe eating here.

I started with the tempura vegetables which were the best I have ever had! Onions, zucchini, and mushrooms in a light batter and deep-fried–so yummy! My sister ordered the fried dumplings, and again, they were some of the best I have had.

The salad is very similar to The House of Japan salad: iceberg lettuce, a few pieces of shaved carrots, bacon bits, and a ginger dressing. It was good and I liked that they didn’t use too much dressing. We were also served soup, which is a basic beef broth with a thin slice of mushroom and maybe a thin slice or two of scallion. This was probably my least favorite portion of the meal, but I ate all of it, so there is that. 🙂 🙂

I ordered the filet mignon, which was cooked according to my choice of rare and served with zucchini, onions, mushrooms, bean sprouts, fried rice, and egg yolk sauce. NOTE: The fried rice is served in place of white rice at your request and for an additional charge. The egg yolk sauce was an additional fifty cents. I believe it is served with their seafood entrees at no additional cost.

The chef was very friendly and had a few tricks I had not seen before at other Japanese restaurants. Our server was training someone and they weren’t as attentive as I would have liked–I requested an extra plate, but didn’t get it and our water glasses were not refilled often, and it took a very long time to get our check after we were finished eating.

I will definitely go back!

I really enjoyed our chef, and the restaurant was nice. My girls and I were a bit bummed that they didn’t have yum yum sauce, and I wasn’t a fan of the salad dressing, but everything else was decent. The shrimp was excellent, and the NY strip was great. The darker sauce for dipping was delicious too, and so was the pina colada. The prices were a bit higher than I’m used to and I’ve done a lot of Japanese Steakhouses. Overall, my girls loved it and I thought it was OK.

Visited 3 times. I’ve been to many Japanese steakhouses and this was probably the most disappointing. The atmosphere is ok, service was nice. Salad was ok. Dressing is mediocre, and no yum yum style sauce. Skimped on the meat and chefs weren’t very entertaining. Definitely a place you should skip.

We went tonight for a family dinner with 7 adults and 6 kids. 6 kids! They were so accommodating! They brought the kids drinks with a little twisty straw and they loved it. The chef saw me cutting up the littlest one’s vegetables and shrimp appetizer that they normal serve first and so before he served the rest of her food on the plate he took the time to cut it up into smaller pieces. I thought it was so nice! That meant I actually got to enjoy my food and eat when everyone else did and while mine was hot. The food was delicious! They give you great portions and we had plenty of left overs. I believe our servers name was “sumi” not sure if I got it right or spelled it correctly but she was so nice and our drinks were never empty. I thought we would have a long wait with it being Valentine’s Day and a Friday night but we got right in and seated right away. We had made reservations. We will definitely be going back again!

This place is great! The food was very fresh and flavorful, everything was cooked to perfection right in front of us. They kept the courses coming and always kept our drinks full. We were fed and entertained and for 2 people we went only spent about $60. The prices are fair and you get a quality and delicious meal made right in front of your eyes. We will be back!

I love this place!! The restaurant itself gets a little smoky at times from all of the grilling going on but the food and show is fantastic!! We normally get the House Special with extra egg sauce and bean sprouts. It is a bit pricey so it is a special occasion place for us but the food has never disappointed.
