Service was great, very clean and well maintained, food portions were good and pretty decently priced as a diner should be! Hash browns were fab, fries could be less pale, and surprising that the menu wasn’t enormous as diners usually have. This is definitely going to be a go-to for us, now that we moved to CT (:

Absolute 10 out of 10. Everything you can want in a diner and more. Great, quick service, delicious coffee / cold brew, and absolutely incredible food. The Westport Omelet was cooked perfectly, crispy tasty hash browns, and the corned beef hash *chefs kiss*. On top of it all, we tried the cinnamon swirl pancake, which tasted like a perfect pumpkiny cinnamon roll decided to become a pancake for a day. Excellent.

We are on a road trip and we stopped here for late lunch. Upon entering staff was welcoming and our server came right away to get our drink orders. We had ordered the Kale Salad and the Brussels salad. Staff are so kind and polite they gifted us delicious pancakes for our wait time since they were so busy. We will have to make a stop here anytime we are passing through!

Stopped in to grab a cup of coffee and some chat time with an old friend (11 a.m.) today. Our wait-person was super friendly and served us with a smile, even though she knew we weren’t going to be eating anything. She also came by to give us a re-fill when we’d drained our cups halfway. The atmosphere and service were great. Sherwood Diner is way better than Southport Diner based on my personal experiences at each in the last month.

Just passing thru so we stopped. Everyone was glad we did. Pancakes were amazing and grilled chicken ceasar salad probably one of the best I’ve had. If I’m ever passing thru again, definitely worth stopping at.
