We made reservations for 6:00 Valentine’s Day. The place was packed super tight with card tables in between tables. The wait staff could not get in between. I’m sure they were over capacity. We ordered all you can eat crab legs which comes with baked potato. We never got it . We were there 3.5 hours and only got 1 bowl of crab. One person with one drink was 92 dollars. It was greed at its finest. They way over booked what they could handle and was still advertising to come in and eat. I’m sure on any other given day it’s not that busy but I won’t go back to find out.

Made valentines reservation for my wife and I to 6:30. Showed up to a packed house. Waitress asked if we had a reservation and I said yes for 6:30. She took us to a table that was clean and had a sign on it that said reservation. Wonderful right? Then she told us we couldn’t set there, tried to set us at a table that had drinks on it already and the next table over had to tell her the people were at the buffet. She then took us back across the restaurant into a room with what appears to be a party. Set is at the end of a folding table in folding chairs where a line of strangers passed silverware from a pile to us each person touching it along the way. We left. I called from the car and the guy who answered the phone said yeah we’re busy. I told him I knew it would be that’s why I reserved a table. He continued to argue with me and I said I wanted to talk to Sherrie he told me she was busy. After arguing for several minutes sherry got on the phone and I told her what was going on and she wanted us to drive back. Sorry sherry I’ve been arguing with your stafff who doesn’t care for 20 minutes I’m already almost half way home. Thanks for wasting a 45 minute trip and a babysitter for our first valentines. In trained staff that’s more hateful than helpful!

My family and I traveled 2 hours today because we had heard that they had the best fried chicken . Let me say they did not disappoint. Everything was homeade, down to the green beans. It’s worth the drive to Brunswick Mo!

If you miss Gramma’s Cooking this is the place for you , the service is great wether you just get coffee or the whole meal , staff will wear you out asking to help you , try the breakfast , or lunch buffet , it’s all good , the coffee is hot , the sweet tea is cold , the cinnamon rolls are HUGE . Worth the drive , worth the time .

My mom and dad went in tonight for dinner and was only given the option of the buffet, which didn’t hardly have anything on it. There were only 3 pieces of fried chicken on the buffet, and no more was ever put on it. When a nother couple from out of state came and were seated next to my mom and dad, they were given 3 dinner options, the buffet, the menu, or all you could eat hot wings. The man from the out of state couple ordered the buffet, and by the time my parents left approximately 45 minutes later, they still had not put any more chicken on the buffet.

Ate here twice. Both times the food was disappointing. Pulled a 8 inch piece of hair from a piece of fried chicken once.
The last time, it was 30 minutes before the buffet closed and everything was dried up or empty.
Both times it smelled musty.
The service is ok, not super friendly.
I think this place feeds a majority of “older” people that don’t have a very high standard of service or taste! I don’t mean to sound hateful, but most people as they get older like bland foods.
The place is always busy, I just don’t see why???

First time eating at Sherry’s. Good food. Will definitely go back. Thank you Sherry for having the Senior Meal Day! I’m sure it is greatly appreciated in the community. Staff friendly and active, really liked the catfish and broasted chicken!
