A friendly, family owned restaurant with great food and great prices. Service is always quick, the food is always fresh and tasty, and it has a wonderful hometown family feel. Sheri’s is a great little diner. The food was hot and fresh, staff friendly and coffee is delicious! I had the 2 eggs with bacon. Hash browns and toast. I had a side “baby” pancake that you can see from the photos wasn’t that small!

We went for breakfast (which I feel is their specialty. They close at 2pm).
First, I will say my over-medium egg came out absolutely perfect. That almost never happens in a restaurant or at home. It’s usually a little over or under cooked but not this time. Absolutely perfect. The bacon was also prepared perfectly. Crispy but not overcooked.
The cinnamon roll pancake was massive!! I didn’t try it, but it looked good. The presentation could have been better, but they were busy.
The only negative thing was the toast. A breakfast place should have good toast. The “homemade” toast I got was hard, dehydrated bread. (Like a crouton.) Toast should be crisp on the outside but soft in the middle. It was thinly sliced, unlike most homemade bread and barely buttered.
All in all, I would definitely go back. It was very, very affordable, it was comfortable, we had good service and the food was good.

After a weekend of camping, nothing beats Sheri’s breakfast. Camp cooking is great and all but, it pales in comparison to a stellar diner breakfast. The service was fast and friendly. My coffee was kept topped up and the food was absolutely delicious. Can’t beat the prices either! Shout out to the staff working the holiday weekend. Thank you for being so awesome. Next time we’re in Ionia, we’ll be stopping by again.

My wife and I stopped in on a Tuesday morning and it was fairly steady but nothing too bad as they seemed well staffed in the front and back. I ordered the Texas hash wuth english muffin toast and my wife ordered 2 cinnamon Roll Pancakes with a side of bacon. My Texas hash was a very nice portion with lots of cheese, potatoes, eggs, peppers, onions and ham, it looked delicious but sadly it was bland and had no flavor whatsoever. Adding salt and pepper didn’t help much. My wife’s side of bacon was very over cooked and almost too hard to chew or bite. The Pancakes were delicious and the English muffing toast was pretty delicious. Sadly though the rest of the meal was lacking in taste. Being someone that’s been in the industry for quite sometime, my thoughts are that this food could use a little more love!! The servers where very kind and very friendly though and also on point when it came to filling coffee.
