We dined here for dinner on 1/16/26. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I had the Fun-Guy burger and fries and the wife had the Tropical salad with Mango vinaigrette. The food was all good. The Mango vinaigrette was very good. The atmosphere is real nice at this resort restaurant. Plenty of seating outside at tables and the bar. Nice water view also.

Great sounding live music!
They accommodated our party of eight using two tables, as each table was under an umbrella. Not the best Strawberry Daiquiri though, but the Rum Bucket drink was SO TASTY and very fruity! Food took a little long to get to us, and the lady forgot some of our drinks. They were busy, as it was during the 4th of July holiday, so understandable. They have a large dance floor, with live Caribbean music, who were really good!

First time visiting this place. I found it to be a very professional The guys who served us were very professional. We arrived to rent the jet skis. They explained everything to us about driving them and how to ride them. We had an incredible time. I went with my boyfriend and friends. It was an exciting experience. I recommend it, but don’t forget to bring your boat driver’s license

Atmosphere is good with live music and beautiful sunset view. The food it was spicy even the hamburger my daughter and son ordered it was spicy. If You starving it is not recommended to go to this place because of how long it takes. 30 minutes to bring the appetizer them 30 minutes to bring the main plate.

This is a hidden gem recommended by a local. We loved the fish tacos. The live entertainment was outstanding – so talented. There is a stage and good audio. It’s an open air venue. They removed our dishes and drinks so efficiently… But we would have loved to sip a little longer.

We are so lucky to be locals and to get to spend days at this awesome place that offers everything you would love and want in music, food, fun and atmosphere! Matt at the outside pool bar absolutely CRUSHES it! He is the total service with a smile and that “I am happy to help you” attitude that just makes your experience “next level”! Matt just exceeded expectations! He insisted on making sure our orders were perfect as ordered…No matter how busy he was! He truly made our day with his easy going way and great food and drink suggestions! Toni at the front desk is also service with a smile and so is Mr. M (spelling of his full name escapes me) who greeted us with such warmth and joy at the front desk as we were departing. He is new here and is an excellent addition to all of the hard working people who bring this beautiful resort to life with their hard work and care of their visitors. Everything is always wonderful here and I’ll say it again as I AM hospitality… The service is simply to best! Shout out to all who work here and thanks to the most awesome Manager EVER…Ve Samuel!! I had the most fun I had in a long time. I saw my favorite band playing here Swipe Right on the beach. Was sooo awesome. All staff was friendly and the drinks were good. Could have been a little stronger but all in all my 1st time there was a success. Will definitely go back.

I was looking over Google Maps of all the places that I have been while working as a field service tech, and see Shephard’s Tiki Bar is still operating, as it has been years since I have been there and didn’t give a review. Not even sure there was such a thing back then. Lol So I wanted to give mine now, with date adjusted to around 2005. I would take any customers that were within around 150 miles of the Clearwater region, mainly because of Shephard’s. In times while working near Clearwater, I would stay at hotels located on the beach, then be at Shephard’s every night, which would sometimes make mornings a bit challenging.
Of all the places that I have stayed in the Country, this place was top of my list. If working in Miami, at week’s end, I would drive across on highway 75, just to finish the week off at Shephard’s, then fly out of Tampa to my next place.
Not only the live bands, but the “live atmosphere” that the place produced, had like a “magnetic field” effect on me. It and would pull me in if I were within 150 miles. So beware, if you too become addicted after just one visit!
Although I hadn’t eaten enough to justify a food rating, I can say as far as the drinks, service, and atmosphere, my rating is a solid 5. For a business to operate as long as they have, shows that they understand and practice good business protocol.
I had the very best times of my life here. Everyone was beyond friendly, very “lax”, I think it’s called “chilled” now? Lol. I’m thinking even these days it still maintains its “roots”, and I cannot say enough of the great “vibes” it had. I retired a few years ago, but hope to get down there again soon, and give it another run. Lol
