We’ve been coming to Shenanigans for years and actually had dinner there last night with some friends. We’re usually not ones to complain because in the four years we’ve been visiting, our experiences have always been great. We truly enjoy this place — the staff has always been attentive, welcoming, and a big part of why we keep coming back.
Unfortunately, this visit was very different and left us feeling unwelcome and questioning whether we should take our business elsewhere. It took about 15 minutes just to receive our drinks, and then another 20 minutes passed before our waitress returned to take our order. When our food finally arrived, several of the plates were mixed up with another table’s order. The person running the food was rude and made it seem as though the mistake was our fault. We then had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the remaining plates to come out.
It was disappointing, especially because this isn’t the level of service we’ve come to expect from a place we’ve supported for so long.

Sam and Marenn took great care of us tonight. Large crowd to enjoy the Texas game. We sat at the bar and viewed all the food going out of the kitchen our food was superb!!! All the food passing by looked delicious. By far the best place to eat in San Angelo!!! All the servers were smiling, pleasant and interactive despite the very big and busy crowd. Working together for the service of the customers.

I don’t normally write reviews, but this is a cautionary to uber eats and DoorDash drivers. I have picked up 3 orders from shenanigans and each time I was treated like complete trash. I had multiple people make eye contact with me and when I asked them where to pick up the food I was either receiving a glare or just completely ignored. When someone actually told me to stand by the kitchen and wait for it I was told very rudely to move and get away from the kitchen, which I wasn’t even blocking anyone’s path, I was standing at the bar. So each time I go back to where the bartenders are I get the same glare or eye roll and when I tell them to have a nice day I’m just completely ignored. I would give negative stars for service if I could. If I were you next picking up food for someone here be prepared to be treated badly.

Fries were good!! But the burger was undercooked… I had to throw it in as skillet and let it cook fully until the pink was gone. A burger is not a steak!!! Please do not cook it like one.

Sadie is an excellent and friendly waitress! We have had her as our waitress several times and so awesome!! Sue the Manager is also an excellent waitress and friendly always making sure you are well taken care of. We come here quite often and look forward to having Sadie or Sue!!!

If you want to watch sports or a ppv event, this establishment will get that done for you. Word of advice, keep the drinks simple if you want it to taste properly and be prepared to wait a little longer than expected. The appetizers left a lot to be desired. The calamari was absolutely distasteful. The chicken taquitos were amazing. Chicken nachos were sub-par and needed more toppings. There are plenty of tvs with a variety of sports and other events on. A little loud at times, but that’s to be expected at a sports bar. One more tip, ask if the pool table works before you put quarters in it.

The service was very slow , had to wait 20 minutes at a time to get drink refills and the food was not very good at all we got buffalo sliders and I did not expect a chicken nugget on a roll . Overall very disappointing . The beer was cold and good , when it finally arrived.
