This place was amazing. The culinary highlight of our trip. I highly recommend it and we can’t wait to visit again. The crab pot and the scallop platters were tremendous. The chocolate cake and key lime pie were both huge and excellent. In addition to the restaurant, there is a great bar and a covered outdoor waiting area down on Shem Creek, a great place to take pics! Like most places in/near the water in Charleston, the main lot was full and we had to park up the street, but no big deal.

The shrimp and grits was fantastic. Just a little spicy and tasted perfect with all those flavors from this typical south dish. There is a place to sit outside and the views are also very nice. Would come again every time I could! Totally recommended. I went around 5 pm weekday and it wasn’t full so a good time to go.

Loved our visit here with family! 3 out of 4 of us had the low country shrimp boil which was absolutely delicious. The shrimp was super fresh! The 4th person in our party had the flounder sandwich and again was absolutely fresh and tasty! Will definitely be back on a future visit to the area. Service was also extremely friendly

We had a great time at the Crab House. I would recommend the daily local special. The night we went it was the local sword fish. It was fantastic along with the mashed potatoes and collared greens. My wife had a ahi tuna salad which I can tell you was on par!

We got the shrimp low country boil and paid $22 extra for a cluster of crab legs. Everything was plain, bland and had no flavor. Crab legs weren’t cooked properly I had to fight to get anything out of a shell and shrimp was chewy. 1 piece of corn, 4 potatoes and 7 tiny slices of “sausage”. The view and location is absolutely stunning but the food was so disappointing. The staff was great, quick and helpful but I wouldn’t go back.

This place is great. Easy parking up front. Staff are friendly. We went in with a group and got seated promptly. Seafood is fresh. The food came out fairly quick. The view of marshland is nice. Restaurant is clean and inviting.

My friend who lives in the area gave me this place as a recommendation. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The staff was friendly, the place was clean and the food was 5 star! They have great happy hour specials and the view just added to the beautiful atmosphere. If you love Southern seafood then this is for you. The price is around what you’d expect to pay for good food but it’s not overpriced like some. This place will definitely be re-visited when I come back.

Great restaurant ! OMG the location is gorgeous. Right by the water on the terrasse. The food was amazing as well. We took the crab house crab pot for share and it was perfect. The spices were outstanding. The service was perfect as well. I’ll recommend 100%!! The waitress even gave us a small cup of the spices. Don’t hesitate and rush to this place !

This is the perfect lunch or dinner spot in Mount Pleasant. The deck overlooks the marsh and the creek. The seafood is great and the staff very friendly. We always go right after kayaking (Coastal Expeditions kayak rental is right next door- highly recommended) and it’s great.

Wonderful experience. This one’s a must. Exceptional food and service. They take reservations which is a must for me. The food quality is second to none. Fresh, well prepared and the portions are very fair. You won’t regret it. Gotta try their shrimp and grits and their Lowcountry crab cakes, which rival anything from the Eastern Shore of MD, which is the gold standard for crab cakes in my book. This one’s one we will come back to time and again for sure.
