The service is as quick as fast food, but tastes way better! I had the double cheeseburger with mozzarella sticks and my grandma had the bratwurst and a side salad. Everything tasted great, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Shelly’s Burger Station is a true gem for downtown Vandalia. a small yet great little diner. The prices are great, the staff are awesome, and the food is stellar. Anytime I get the chance I pop in and have a meal that takes me back to my youth. To a time when diners were all about the food and the people. A time before fast food even became a thing. A time when you could actually afford to eat out without having to worry about paying other bills. This place is as close to that feeling as I’ve been since right out of college. Thanks Shelly Ledbetter for bringing back that feeling for myself and many others. Do yourself a favor Google this place and check out their food. You will not be disappointed, I know I have never been.

This has been hands down the best place we have tried in a while!
We got the Big R Burger, the Rail Road, fried pickles, and the onion rings! They were supper fast, very friendly! It was out first time trying! But we hope to come back very soon! Great place all around!

2 BBQ cheeseburgers and a side of tots is literally what I get nearly every time. Best sweet tea I could find around those parts. It’s not “too” sweet either and the service is superior. Best bang for your buck. One of these days I’ll order the bag of 10 cheeseburgers
