This place was a great place to get lunch they actually had good food. About a week ago new management took over Mann corporation they let most of the staff go and gave no notice of this happening they think they can run this all on there own when what people want is that quick 5 minute relationships that they had with employees that put a smile on there face when they came in having a rough day. Hopefully Freeland will keep people or corporations coming in here making this town of loving people like some other rude city on the map.

New management, they don’t seem very friendly or competent
when it comes to customer service. They’ve kept garlic fries on the printed menu and board, but they do not actually offer them anymore. The burgers are not very good anymore, and they took away the taco bar. This is turning into a generic gas station that you’d see over town. 🙁

New management changed everything, nothing is as good as it used to be. They make food, but I wouldn’t trust it. They’re ALWAYS talking on their cell phones anytime I come in, which is often. They wear face masks about 80% of the time. I don’t know why I even go bother to go here anymore. I came here a lot before because they used to be open til midnight, but now they close at 10 PM.

I really hate to leave a bad review, been here several times for my regular a breakfast burrito, it was always good!! New management tried serve me a really nasty looking burrito, I know because I watched him make it. I politely said thanks, but no thanks. He seemed really mad when I walked out. I hope they get it together here!!

You know, I never thought I’d be sitting down at my local Shell Station for a hamburger and fries or fish n chips. The kids used to ask me for money to go to the Shell Shack for food. I imagined the dry chicken strips they must be eating but the kids seemed so happy. I went with them one day…. dayum! Surprised, I was, to say the least. My Go-to spot now for local yummy hamburgers and, yes, the fish n chips are even good! I don’t know if one may drink beer on the premises, but one certainly can purchase beer here…. just sayin’. Anyway, don’t be shy when you stop for a fill up on the way down Hwy 525. It’s actually good food…along with all the other things you want from a fuel station convenience store!

Only gave one star because I cant give a negative rating. Gave my food to someone else then told me it was my fault. Been a customer for years. New management is ruining a place I once enjoyed. I will never spend my money here again.

Absolutely terrible. So rude. I was yelled at over the phone for asking to order food to go not knowing their kitchen was closed at 12pm on a Monday. Used to be such a great place. Now it’s just a hostile garbage dump. Sad.
