We had an absolutely amazing experience at Sheldon’s on Saturday. This was our second time here and we came for breakfast with our son this time. We were greeted immediately and once seated our waitress came to take our drink order. It was very busy and we were impressed with her prompt attention. Everything we ordered came to us fresh and delicious. We love all the different bread, cheese, egg and bacon crispness options that were offered to us by our waitress. It’s personal touches like that, that make the customer feel special and right at home. All of our food was cooked to perfection and delicious. We definitely will be coming back again and again. The delicious pies and lunch specials are a plus. The whole staff is friendly and hard working, zooming around the restaurant with lightening speed. We definitely recommend eating at Sheldon’s Luncheonette.

What a hidden gem! It’s definitely a place full of regulars, but everything was great and we felt at home! The service was awesome, probably one of the best experiences! The food was delicious and such big portions! Everything was tasty and seasoned to perfection! The pancake was huge and delicious! Can’t wait to go back!

Basic diner breakfast menu, but they do it really well!! Spinach omelet was nicely cooked, tender and perfect color. Scrambled eggs were fluffy and not overcooked at all. Both the hash browns and home fries were crispy and we’ll seasoned. Service was excellent. I really appreciated the way the server knew the regulars and remembered the orders, but was still super nice with the newbies (us). Nothing fancy for sure, but clean and not too crowded. Everything I needed for a nice Saturday morning breakfast after our hike!

Sheldon’s is a great homestyle east coast diner in my opinion. We have gone for breakfast and lunch it’s always what you need. The food is made from scratch. I’m a huge fan of their green chili and their roast turkey. But their burgers are great as are most of the soups I have tried.
The service is always good even when busy. The wait staff and cleaning staff and the entire kitchen staff are working as hard as they can and it shows from the homemade pies to everything.

So much personality in a mid-sized diner. A bit of nostalgia, lots of tables, and a happy, busy staff. Sit at the horse shoe counter or help yourself to a table. Either way, you’ll be part of the atmosphere. I took a chance on corned beef hash and won. Delicious Their coffee was also very enjoyable. It paired very well.
