First time trying this place out and not sure what took us so long! Staff was great and food was even better! The omelets seemed pricy, but let me tell ya, two of us took half of it home for another me. We order the Colorado and the Ham & Cheese omelets and both were packed full!! Highly recommended.
We tried the blueberry pancakes and they were very good also. The other order was the two eggs with sausage and toast. Eggs were perfect, raisin toast delicious, and the huge sausage patty was very good and had a lot of flavor.
At first we were concerned about the price, until we received our orders. Totally worth it. Seen some of the reviews talking about waiting a while for food, keep in mind that there may only be one person in the kitchen and taking orders. It is worth the wait and be patient as the are super awesome!

Old fashioned counrty eatery….great tastes. Only place where sausage gravy has great fla or. Inconsistent hours and days of operation. No way to tell. A real treasure for Shelby, but fading away.

Home cooked breakfast in an old style bakery. Suggest that you get the country boy omelet with texas toast. It’s seriously the best! My daughter loves the chocolate chip pancakes. Appreciate that I can get a Tommy Tomato (grilled cheese with tomato) for breakfast. Brenda the owner/cook is a great person and makes sure to check in and see how food tastes or to simply say HI. I’ll be back for sure.

Ordered some French toast and they were very good. Don’t get me started with the bacon.

Enjoyed a plate of corned beef hash and eggs. Our waitress/cook was very pleasant with an infectious smile and great memory. Didn’t need paper to record or order. Nice small town restaurant. We’ll be back.
