They were out of prime rib, out of filet, ordered the ribeye medium rare but sort of underwhelmed. Drinks were good. My husband’s shrimp appetizer was awesome, truffle fries were tasty, his fish tacos also good. The ribeye was undercooked and under seasoned. Really neat atmosphere, waitress was pleasant.

Super accommodating and friendly staff. Fun historic haunted house decor. We were with a large group and everyone enjoyed their food. The roasted brussel sprout appetizer was delicious. Highly recommend ordering one of their excellent sauces on the side for dipping fries. Yum!

We stopped in to have a quick lunch and walked in to a BUSY lunch rush! The bars dining tables were full, as well as the side dining area, so we sat at the bar. Joe was the only bartender/server working and I was amazed at how well he handled himself under such a stressful situation! He remained calm and polite! I am extremely impressed. And to top it off, my Hawaiian Long Island and Lunch was great!

I really like their menu! I ordered shrimp dish and there was option to have smaller/half portion. Also seasonal vegetables as sides is a great plus because as Polish I suffer to have enough vegetables in a restaurants. To sum up – great spot, friendly service, lovely outdoor area.

We had dinner here on our last night visiting family. The service was great, super attentive and accommodating. The food was fantastic. I had the walleye special which was perfectly crispy fried fish and had a side of mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies. It was not only delicious but also beautiful to look at. The restaurant itself is fun and historic and felt like an experience, you can tell the building has a story to tell. Some people say the place is haunted and even the back of the menu tells ghost stories which l really enjoyed reading. Would love to come back next time we go visit!

When to try something new and found this place. The cheese curds we different than your typical curds in Wisconsin, they were cubed and lightly battered 4.5* for these. The drink menu was long, and the drinks were strong, so 5* for this. I had the house special, smoked bacon wrapped meatloaf, which was nearly perfect. I just needed a tad more salt. My wife could not stop raving about the mixed vegetables too. The place has deep history that will give you goosebumps. Jes, I’d like to say a job well done and your staff was great.

I got house salad with blue cheese dressing, chicken pesto flatbread, tiramisu, water, & sprite. All were tasty. I watched the Lions vs Chargers football game on T.V. Staff is friendly & very helpful. Street parking. I will come back next time I visit Chippewa Falls, WI.

*** AVOID THIS PLACE *** Ored two filet dinners. Neither was cooked accurately. Undercooked. Had to send both back. Also,
Ordered a premium burbon old fashion and it was served with soda water and cheap cherry juice. I sent it back and they charged me for it anyway without telling me.
I can see why this restaurant has been struggling for so long! Their service is horrible. The owner is condescending, and the bartending skills are horrible. The decor is dated, confused and dirty. Save your money… go to the chop house!!!

Beautiful spot to eat- love the outdoor patio. Had the Big Boom entree and an old fashion. Delicious! The vegetables did need a little salt but loved the variety and how they were sautéed!

We sat for an hour and didn’t get our burger and tacos on a slow night. The bartender never made eye contact but did her best to manage the front of house. Food looked amazing on other patrons plates. The place has a really cool cozy saloon vibe though. Maybe it was just an off night. ‍♂️
