Can’t say it enough that the flavors are just AMAAAZING, reminds me of back home
Since the restaurant opened on Friday, December 12, I’ve been coming back regularly for either lunch or dinner—that alone says a lot. Highly recommended!
The prices are very very reasonable. They also have a solid variety of food options for a quick meal on the run, or a longer, more relaxing dining experience.
I ended up getting a spicy lovers chicken wrap and fries. It’s not too spicy but filled with amazing flavors. The fries taste fresh and are made with quality potatoes.
You can tell they take great pride in their food and the quality of ingredients that they use. I had a great conversation with the staff about how much love they put into ensuring the food is good.
You will not go wrong with the food from here!
On top of that, the elegance in service was outstanding; a warm welcome, attention to detail, and genuine care for the comfort of the guests. Amer is a great example of someone who combines refined cooking with refined manners.
A truly memorable experience that is definitely worth repeating ️
⏰ Order took a full 20 minutes to prepare. Do NOT come here expecting a grab and go.
I ordered and paid for a diet coke at the kiosk. When I went to pick up my order, I was informed they didn’t actually have any in stock and that they could not refund me. To their credit, they did offer to make it up to me but there were no other drinks I wanted, and I didn’t have another 20 minutes to wait for another food item. Beverages are easy to stock up on and running out can always be blamed on poor inventory management.
I tipped before realizing that I ordered at the kiosk, picked up my own food, and cleaned my own tray and table. Any place that plays this game immediately loses a star from me.
While I thought my tiny wrap was delicious, I can’t say the same for the fries. Super soggy, not very flavorful. Big disappointment given that the wrap was so good.
While this isn’t a good place for dine-in, I would expect it to be good for take-out or delivery, as long as you order the right items, since half the headache here is the super long wait for the tiny wrap. (Note – I’m basing size off Falafel Inc – I think I’d need 2-3 of these tiny wraps to equal one from Falafel Inc).
Visited Sheel & Mashi in Tyson’s Corner, located opposite Walmart and close to Bombay Tandoor in Vienna. This place seems to be focused mainly on shawarmas, so we decided to try two of their chicken shawarmas.
The taste was just okayish. While it had some flavor, it definitely lacked the richness and authentic shawarma taste you typically get in the Middle East. The filling also had very little chicken, which made the wrap feel less satisfying overall. They mention Middle Eastern inspiration, but the flavor profile didn’t really match that expectation.
Another downside was that the shawarmas were served plain—no sauces, no napkins, and not even water offered. The place has very limited seating, and overall the experience felt quite basic.
The only positive point is the price, around $7 per shawarma, which is quite cheap for the area. But it also feels like the low price comes from cutting out extras like sauces or sides.
Overall, it was an average experience and not somewhere I’d personally go out of the way to visit again.
I chose the sauces, and the order was supposed to include fries and onions and pickles , but it arrived without them… It’s even without garlic and sauce…
I do not recommend it.
Sandwiches here are the real stars. Each one is generously filled, perfectly balanced in flavor, and wrapped in soft, fresh bread. The shawarma sandwich bursts with juicy, well-seasoned meat, crisp veggies, and a creamy, tangy sauce that ties it all together. Their smash-burger style sandwiches are equally impressive — smoky, savory, and indulgent without being greasy. Even the vegetarian options are thoughtfully crafted, with grilled veggies and flavorful spreads that don’t feel like an afterthought.
