Cute little dive bar with a full menu, and pool table. Same owner as the Grille next door. Friendly staff and customers, great place to chat and make a friend.
Smoking area put back behind the pool table. Multiple seating area rooms for dining, groups, and a well stocked full bar.
Classic dive bar drink prices and happy hour special. Several local spirits from PNW distillers, to try without breaking the bank.
Chicken schnitzel was tender and fresh. Roasted cauliflower and lentil soup was delicious on a cold rainy evening!

We’ve lived in the Gorge now for 5 years now. This was the first time, (after many invites) we have made it to the Shed, and let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations. We’re from Huntington Beach, Ca in the heart of Orange County, where eating establishments impress or go out of business. The Shed delivered on all fronts, esthetics, atmosphere, menu, service, and quality of food. I’m a sucker for chicken schnitzel with gravy, and the fact that it was on the menu already had me planning my return trip, but it was absolutely perfect. The mushroom gravy was a stand alone meal in itself. My wife chose the top sirloin, it came with just the right amount of char and was fabulous as well. Thank you to everyone of the servers who ventured to our table, what a great staff. We gave 5 stars only because there wasn’t 6.

Great Hood River Bar! Do you like cocktails, Led Zeppelin, steak, more Led Zeppelin, bartenders who think they are funny, and even more Led Zeppelin? Then this is the bar for you! We surfed and turfed it. I had the steak and my friend had the fish, just for the halibut. Both were great. Also had one of the best mock-tails. (And the bartenders were actually funny). Highly recommended.

I came from London, U.K. to visit a friend in White Salmon, just across the river from Hood River. We went to this place because it looked awesome and it didn’t disappoint! Friendly service, great cocktails at a reasonable price and an authentic all-American atmosphere! Would recommend!
