One of the main reasons I come to this area . Other than manatees. Great atmosphere. Lots of seating. Food is ok . It’s the people that make this place so special. Beautiful sunsets . Drinks are a bit expensive. But the live bands more or less fix that . Plenty of parking. I highly recommend this place .

My wife and I had lunch here on Monday, January 19, 2026 during a 4 night visit to Homosassa Springs. We also went back twice in the evenings on January 22 and 23 for cocktails and to listen to two very good live music acts. Food is from a food truck parked beside the Tiki Bar and it is fresh made and delicious. The bar only has a beer and wine license, but they have several local area craft beers/ales on draft. We had great service on our first visit, but it was busy and crowded on the second two visits and they needed another bar tender. The location is great and in the very center of Old Homosassa, which still retains an Old Florida Charm. There is a public boat ramp and a marine store on the east end of the property. It’s definitely a must visit place if you are visiting the Homosassa, Chassahowitzka, or Crystal River areas.

They have the best wings-hands down I’ve ever had. Everytime we end up at different restaurant..we always say should have made the 30 min northbound drive to Homosassa to the shed.
All their food is amazing but the wings..no one can touch their perfection!
The atmosphere is the best..peaceful and humbling and they always have the best music that plays there.
They have it figured out with the simplicity of order your food before hand and pay up front! NO WAITING on the check when your just ready to go at the end of the outing! Your food comes ready to go in a box 9 times out of 10 incase ya want it to go with you!
I love with this place. I highly recommend!

We went on a Friday night in February and arrived at 6pm to listen to the Bootleggers band. The place was packed with no place to sit. You place your food and drink order at the bar and they give you a pager. It’s an open air tiki style bar that sits right on the water. After the band finished their first set a few tables opened up but you had to be quick. The kitchen sold out of fish quickly. Food items are typical bar food and deep fried served with plastic utensils and paper basket. No frills but you go for the atmosphere and dining under the stars, on the water.

Everyone in was happy with what we had to eat. The proportions were a pleasant surprise. You have to order your food at the bar and pick it up from the trailer next to the pier. We didn’t know the routine, but quickly figured it out. No waitresses. I would definitely come back. Watching the pelicans was enjoyable.

Came to The Shed to see some friends(Star Fire) play today. Great food, outside by the water and watching them play and the Pelicans.

4.2 Stars, First time here, service was good even though it was packed. Drink selection was limited, beer and wine only. Food menu was small, food was ok, perhaps slightly better than average.

Great food and atmosphere, and friendly staff! Service was great because it’s self serve. They cooked up my fresh caught scallops and Grunt fish and it was awesome

Stopped in on a Monday afternoon when we were done fishing. Not crowded which was nice for a change. Tables were clean
Wings were pretty decent but a little dry. The shrimp was excellent. Better than The Freezer. Unfortunately the bartender was not very pleasant or friendly. I’ll take subpar food with excellent service over unfriendly staff any day. The also only have beer and wine which is a negative for me. However, they are advertising they have Bloody Mary’s now ♀️ I’d go back but not so long as it’s the same bartender.
