Espresso martini was harsh. My partner had the margarita Aperitif. He didn’t like it, and neither did I.
Clam chowder was gummy and very salty. Grilled cheese and turkey sandwiches were pretty good. French fries would have been better if they were hot. They tasted like they were under a heat lamp for a while. Cheese cake pie was very good, the best thing we tasted on the menu.
The service was slow at best. A waitress was assigned to our table, but also had a large group of 14, so she asked a waiter to step in and help. She was great, he was not. At the end of the meal, he presented our bill for review, then charged someone else’s bill to our credit card. I had to get up to find someone to correct it.
The manager came over to apologize and gave us a gift certificate for 2 drinks, which was very nice. We’ll give it another chance.
