I come here only for their ban mian (peanut sauce noodles). They have the best ban mian here in my opinion. The inside is simple with pictures shaxian food over the walls. However, the service can be often disappointing where you’ll be ignored. And you get charged a 3.5% fee if you pay by card without prior notice, which they should let you know before you pay.

Before you enter this restaurant you have to understand that this restaurant serves Chinese delicacies such as various internal beef and pork parts so please be open minded. The food is amazing, Highly recommend the Ramen soup with rice noodles and shredded Pork on a cold day! Great service, Staff can be very friendly but straight talking. Restaurant offers some really interesting delicacies but also some “American-Chinese” Dishes if you don’t want to go out of your comfort zone. Overall it’s a fantastic place if you want a truly delicious, Home style chinese meal without being in a loud restaurant at lunchtime! This is a hidden gem and well worth the visit 😉

Wanted to try something new in Chinatown. Got two different soups (Dang shen black bone chicken soup & pork bone rice noodle soup) and the Fozhou dumplings. The soups were bland and tasteless and tasted like one broth was used with meat and noodles just added to it to make it “look different”. I didn’t even want to try the bun. The staff was on their phone and distracted. The place was empty and looked rundown – poor sanitary condition. I will not come back and would not recommend.

I ordered a duck with mushrooms soup. The broth itself was okay, but the duck had a very unpleasant smell that made it impossible to eat. I paid for the meal and ended up leaving without eating the food at all. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

A strange lunch experience that left an unsettled feeling (more figuratively than literally).

We were a bit taken aback when we arrived and were seated at the same table as a mother and her kid who were still eating. An awkward 5 minutes followed, as we tried our best not to stare rudely while they hurriedly finished their meal!

We ordered some small plates (wontons, fish balls, etc), and though there were some interesting flavors (sour broth with pieces of celery), the food felt sloppily prepared with MSG propping up a lot of the taste. The fried taro cakes were probably the best of our order — golden & crispy outside, soft and melty inside.

Then our bill was added up by hand, totaling about 10% more than menu prices, but I didn’t have the heart to ask the very stressed out restaurant staff to recalculate.

We got overcharged and the waitress is very rude. They told us that the menu was old and therefore didn’t reflect the right price, which means they could charge whatever they want. We ordered four dishes, and they charged us $38 even though it should only cost $33 based on the menu.

The staff has a very hard time understanding you if you speak english but they will take the time to be sure they understand you. The food was very bad and had a fly on it. Ingredients didn’t taste fresh

Worst experience ever.
The staff was extremely rude, they hung up on me twice and then completely stopped answering my calls when I simply wanted an update. Terrible customer service.
