I think I came here once before but couldn’t tell you about the experience. This time around we had a mid winters Saturday family day at the Back 9 for some simulated golf then went next door to the restaurant/ bar section. The server was on top of everything in the Back 9 side and the golf simulators were very nicely done.
Next door the food, including the Italian ciabatta and pizza, were phenomenal! You wouldn’t think being a bar that they would have that great of food and experience but it was all fantastic. I was honestly impressed. Plus they are family friendly during the day, complete with high chairs which is an A++ in my book!
Can’t wait to come back!

Bartender with the blond shaved hair does not care about customers, ignores them and forgets… Dude that looks like a snowboarder from Colorado isn’t bad.. pretty good bartender….. Sandwiches were mediocre at best, the menu says a third of a pound of roast beef on the French dip… As you can see the whole sandwich weight was 8.84oz… 5.3oz is a third of a pound so the math ain’t mathin when you add the bun and cheese. The steak ciabatta was pretty skimpy for 12 bucks and the onions were not even cooked . Never again Shawn’s.. Your standards have gone downhill….

Food has made me and a friend sick twice. The golf sim is the worst sim in Toledo. Light was out asked to have it replaced guy that works there says no he will do it after they close. Well why am I paying To use facilities that aren’t managed. They use about golf as a there launch monitor. This place is absolutely horrendous pinnacle practice balls to use, About Golf does not perform as a Sim should. The people that work there are rude. Very very rude. This place is an absolute joke. Do not waste your money here spend the extra money and go to XGolf. At least you’ll have a good experience..

The manger who I believe to be the owners wife called. After a 10 minute conversation she requested I take the review down I will not do this. Power to the People! Viva la Revolution. I have no mouth but I must scream!
To reinforce and reiterate Myself and my friend both got very sick from eating here. The service at the Sim is horrible. The Sim itself is horrible, I recently went to Fore Golfers and they use the same Sims as Shawn’s however they have new software and you guessed it they work better. So I will say that it not the about golf sims in away it is it more the software and the The lack of understanding of that software by the management at Shawn’s, which makes it an unpleasant experience. Pinnacle practice balls, hard as a rock again the light was out. We asked to have a light fixed and we’re told no, but we’re still expecting to pay. How does that make sense.
She began to bash XGolf saying that they juiced their system, however, when averaging out XGolf is the exact same as when I’m on a real course the issue is Shawn’s Sim their is also a clear issue beyond that which now stems from poor management. I will not and do not recommend anyone spending money at this Establishment.
The reason for me also reevaluating this review is that it was taken down and I don’t feel it should be the case. The people need to know what to expect when they’re spending their hard earned money.
I am reminded of the great words of Elizabeth Beatrice Hall ‘I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it,’

Went with a friend to watch football on Sunday. There were lots of TVs so most games were easy to see. The food I ordered was very good for bar food. They had run out of chicken salad so I had the peach. It was very good, a little overcooked but better than undercooked.
The decor is not great, it is worn and the tables were sticky. Lots of brewery signs. The bar was extremely loud, but I kind of expected that as it is a sports bar.
Our waitress was very nice, stopped by to check on us but not often enough to be a pest.
I will be back to try Shawn’s again, maybe not during football season.

We have come to Shawn’s many many times. Always fun and enjoyable. Good food. The only drawback is the noise level. So loud it is hard to carry on conversation. We just yell louder at each other!

Had a very poor dinner here last night. We had the mushrooms for an appetizer and they had zero flavor. Both of our fry orders were cold and the chicken in my wrap was overcooked and extremely hard and crunchy. Coleslaw was very bland.
