This place is a hidden gem on Sunday’s. It seems like the only place that is open. Be forewarned the pancakes are the size of the plate (they only ask if you want one or two). They are made with sweet cream and cooked on the griddle with butter. The eggs were just right- not too runny, not too dry. Also cooked in butter. The cinnamon rolls are soft and fluffy, with cream cheese frosting. Even my bottomless pit of a ten year old was filled up!

Overall the food was great, I have yet to find any restaurant that knows how to make scrambled eggs that arent runny.
The service was pretty slow for the amount of people in the restaurant. The one and only server continuously forgot the coffee refill we asked for 3 to 4 times, but she was very helpful, and pleasant the entire time.
We were not in a hurry at all, so the slow service didnt bother us, but I wanted other visitors to be aware of this. We will gladly be back, because these really are minor issues, and this could be an isolated experience.

Home style cooking. I got a breakfast here with coworkers and was shocked. The portions where too big to finish and prepared perfect. Small inside, but has a big heart. If you are looking for the off the beating path, homestyle meal, come check this place out. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. I gave a 4, because when busy, it takes awhile to get your check. But if you got the time, swing in. Enjoy!

We had a most marvelous time here just before a show at the Olde Pine Theater. We started with cheese curds (excellent, lightly breaded and very flavorful) followed by broasted Chicken which we really enjoyed! Again light tasty breading – not a grease soaked slop we found elsewhere. Although we were full from the dinner, coleslaw/baked beans, fries and roll, we tried their pie. Their homemade apple is the best I’ve had. Another diner got their pizza and that looked awesome – I’ll get that next time I’m there. This is a real family run restaurant and we just loved it!

I’ve been to Shawna’s a few times and their breakfast is wonderful. I get a lot of food for a good price and the waiters and waitresses are kind, respectful, and they are there when you have questions! Would recommend!

The food was fantastic with especially large portions for breakfast items but the service was horrible. I witnessed several tables of people get up and leave after they had been sitting and never waited on and a high school waitress who didn’t seem to take her job very seriously.

I ordered a 2 overmedium egg breakfast meal for my son. First time eggs came out they were rock hard. Second time, owner brought the plate to the table with only 1 egg. I asked for the other and she said the cook broke one of the yolks and scraped it off, but still never gave me the 2nd egg. I don’t understand how anyone could think that would be acceptable. Never again.

A hidden jewel in pine island! Had a great burger and fries. Nice quiet place to eat and chat. I’ll definitely stop by again when visiting the golf course.
