That’s good to hear! The first couple of reviews I saw were bad, so maybe they worked out the kinks.

The service was wonderful and it was very clean. It was our first time in so they explained the options and were so kind. Everything was freshly made so there was a little bit of a wait. Portions are larger than expected so go hungry. Definitely give it a try.

Chicken shawarma fresh off the stand with a generous amount of garlic sauce and pickles wrapped in thin pita bread and then pressed to perfection.
The menu does seem to be a bit pricey and the interior design feels incomplete.
All things considered, I am optimistic about this shawarma joint and hope to visit again.

I really enjoyed the tandoori chicken wrap. The spice level was excellent. The over rice bowls are a good option as well. Also had some falafel bites and hummus was delightful. Good Addition to Lawerence.

I visited the new Shawarma Press on its very first day of soft opening, and the experience was excellent! The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. I tried the rice bowl, salad, fries, and both the signature sauce of garlic and tahini sauces and tzatziki — everything was delicious.

The rice bowl was perfectly seasoned with tender shawarma, the salad was refreshing, and the fries were crispy and hard to stop eating. The sauces brought all the flavors together beautifully.

For a soft opening, they are already doing an outstanding job. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

This place is at a great location downtown near Mass st. We dined in for an experience and it did not disappoint. It brings like a fast food experience to Mediterranean food. Carter was very helpful taking our order and even brought it to the our table. I got the Authentic Chicken Shawarma wrap as is… it was very deliciously crunchy and saucy. We are looking forward to getting to eat here again and bringing the rest of the family. Hoping this place can stick around.

Food really subpar. Overcooked, under seasoned, just…really not good. spinach pie a joke, cheap bread with spinach inside. hummus watery bitter and inedible. tiny soggy really gross “bakalava”
bites, super disappointed. paid way too much for not very much…all around a fail. with this food quality, doubt it will be around for long.

In a word? Lackluster. The pita was stale and tasteless, cheap generic pita. Hummus is too bitter. Spinach pastry was mostly dough and also bitter and relatively tasteless. Falafel over salad was fine, but the “salad” was just a smattering of chopped lettuce and a full cup of chopped cucumber, resulting in a very soggy meal. The Chicken Shawarma as a salad was literally inedible. It was like some bizarre cold meat soup. Not a piece of lettuce to be found. The only saving grace is the enormous amount of tasty fries that come to an order. But I’m not paying nearly a hundred bucks again for some fries. Do yourself a favor; skip Shawarma Press and go to Aladdin Cafe instead.

Went it at 12:30pm on a Friday. Stood at the counter for 5 min. No hello, no we will be with you in a few, nothing. Turned around and asked another patron how long he had been waiting (he looked at his watch and said a little over 20min). No one seated was eating. Walked out after clearly seeing this was a terrible decision for a quick lunch or even a long lunch for that matter. They’ll be closed in 6 months. The other reviews definitely give off shill vibes.
