SO MUCH FOOD!!!!! This is the “shawafel” combo (beef shawarma and falafel) – although I’m mildly allergic to eggplant so I got extra hummus instead. This is the food of my peoples and it was delicious, the restaurant and restrooms are very clean, and the staff is wonderful and kind. We dined in, and the man behind the counter could tell that I was trying to limit my use of disposable items without me even saying much about it.

Used to visit his shop on Pleasant Street…then Covid hit. I saw the store was closed, and assumed his business was a casualty of the Pandemic. Just found him again (2 1/2 years later) in a new location, not far away from the original place…20 Franklin Street. BEAUTIFUL place…large and clean and bright. I ran right down and reconnected with Charlie (just a warm, nice man), and treated myself to a Kibbeh wrap. Can’t say enough about this place…I will be a regular, once again!

I had the Chicken Greek Salad. Generous portions and very flavorful. I chose that dish because it included olives, good ones, not those black canned ones that taste canned. The lettuce was crisp and fresh. They put lots of chicken on the salad. It was a lot but I was hungry and enjoyed eating the whole thing. I spoke to a couple other patrons who go regularly. Both had nothing but good things to say about the food and the new, larger location. My lunch date said a fellow employee goes for lunch there daily. Definitely worth going. It got pretty busy about 1 PM. 12:30 PM wasn’t very busy but there was a continuous flow of people. There were several other items on the menu I hope to try on a return visit.

I had the Mixed Shawafel plate. It was delicious. The flavors were fantastic. The portion size was very generous. The service was outstanding too. Very friendly and nice. We look forward to stopping in and eating here every time we are in the area for a show. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend this place.

Shawarma Palace is amazing! The food is always spot on with the beef, lamb, falafel, baba ganoush, and most importantly garlic being so delicious!!!! In addition, the price is right and its a small family business. The owner treats each customer with a customized experience. It is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Massachusetts.

I am so disappointed with our meal here. We had the chicken Shawarma sandwich and falafel appetizer. Everything was cold. It was I inedible. The falafel was tasteless and cold. The shawarma had a white sauce on it instead of tahini like the menu listed.

Good service and clean tables but food was awful. No seasoning, no spice and absolutely no flavor. They’re selling shawarmas but if you’re Arab or Desi, do not count on this place to give you a good taste of what a real shawarma should be like. Even the hummus wasn’t good to be honest. Overall recipes could use some serious work but fast service and clean space at the very least.
