Was in the mood for Shawarma and grape leaves, I’m an Abu Omar Halal regular, they don’t miss the mark, but wanted to try something new and saw this place has high number of reviews and good score… and they didn’t disappoint!!! 100% recommended!
For whatever reason each time I go to Abu Omar Halal, they never have Lamb, these guy do! So I ordered the Lamb Kebab and the Beef Shawarma to try both, i honestly wasn’t impressed with the shawarma that much, it was good don’t get me wrong, but it just didn’t impacted me that much, but what was impressively good was the Lamb Kebab !!! MAN!!!! And the orange sauce they cook it on is just so tasty and makes the lamb so juicy!
The grapes leave where a different experience to what I’m used to as well, they’re more spicy here which I liked, and they served very hot.
I’m definitely coming back for more lamb Kebab, for everything I ordered it was what stood out!
Attention was good, ambience a little too bright, but I think is just me getting older and grumpy…. XD.
I finished my my feast with a Baklava!!! It was fresh and perfectly crafted!

Absolutely love Shawarma House! This place serves some of the best Middle Eastern food in Houston. The shawarma is perfectly seasoned and tender, and every bite is full of flavor. Wonderful shawarmas! Everything was made fresh to order! Tried the chicken and beef shawarmas and both were good! Uday was very hospitable during our dine in. They have a lot of variety so will be back to try more items!

The food was alright. Somewhat bland, and had to ask for hot sauce as they didn’t give it along with the food. The guy at the counter wasn’t very helpful. I know my Turkish food but he wasn’t very willing to answer questions. Chicken of the Shish Tawok was very good but otherwise as average experience as the shawarma wasn’t well seasoned.

Overall great food! For about $20.00, I ordered a Gyro. They came with a generous amount of meat. The flavor was fairly good. The bread was soft. The vegetables were fresh, though I wish a got more Lettuce. The sauces were cool and creamy.

Had the beef shawarma wasnt hot warm at best. Hummus tasted like the taza canned hummus. Falafels ,fries and tabula were good. Nothing special. I think this is a place to eat when your high everything would probably taste better. Guy at the counter was nice.

Ordered platter#4 as well as the lentil soup. My friend and I shared the plate and we still both left with a full belly. Definitely coming back! Food is delicious
